Re: Blu-Ray Enrollment Titles?

Thanks guys! I haven't been a CH member since the days of 12 CDs for a penny, but at this price, I couldn't help but knock off 7 titles I had on my Amazon wishlist.

So once I buy 2 more titles that retail $19.99 or more, I can cancel my account and start over? If not, i'll just be happy to cancel altogether.

Yes. And don't forget to use the 801490 code to get 2 free SD DVDs to go with a Blu-ray fulfillment title.

I just tried using it but it didn't work. Do I have to wait till my 6 BD's ship and my account "starts" before it works I wonder?

I received a welcome e-mail from Columbia House but no order confirmation yet. Even my account page is mostly blank.

I'll try it again after I get those e-mails. Thanks for the code!

You don't have to wait. Make sure your qualifier is at least $19.95, and your freebies are regular DVDs that are not pre-orders.

Re: Blu-Ray Enrollment Titles?

just got instantly approved for the 7:2 code (1556) using 7 blu's as enrollment titles...

after years of being dormant on columbia house due to my transition to blu-ray... it's now what they would call....

Re: Blu-Ray Enrollment Titles?

Got in. Thanks guys! I got a few titles that I've been itching to get but haven't yet -

Dog Day Afternoon
Halloween
Magnolia
Michael Clayton
Rambo
Road House
There Will Be Blood

I also saw Leon on there as well but unfortunately I just bought that a few days ago from gohastings for 10 shipped. If only I had seen this thread earlier.

I've already gotten a few titles in mind that I'd like to fulfill with so here's hoping a good code (free shipping, please!) comes along before 40% off Blu-rays ends.

That is the standard deal for BDs, so don't fret. They haven't had a free ship deal for anything but DVDs for some time, though.

Re: Blu-Ray Enrollment Titles?

I have 2 memberships still open (for over a year) so I am going to cancel one today. It's been so long since I opened a new membership...it will feel nostalgic to do so again.

Regrettably, of the fillms I like, the vast majority I already own on Blu-ray...but there are still about 10 that I can pick from. I'm hoping this will be like the DVDs and that they will add some of the newer titles to the enrollment every week.

Re: Blu-Ray Enrollment Titles?

Question, how exactly do the blus or dvd's come. Is it like right from a B&M. or like in the old days when I got cd's from them you know they were from Columbia House because it was labeled as such on at least the cd and sometimes the jewel case? just wondering, thx

It's exactly the same as you would find in a store. Same UPC and no "Manufactured for CH" logo.

Hold on, they can retail for over 19.95 and count towards fulfillment, or does the purchase price have to be over 19.95?

Re: Blu-Ray Enrollment Titles?

The price you PAY for them has to be 19.95 or higher. It a 19.95 title is on sale for 13 then thats not going to count.

Re: Blu-Ray Enrollment Titles?

OK, that's what I thought. Just wanted to verify. Finding Blu's for sale prices over 19.95 is a bit of a challenge (I have a feeling my Digibook collection is going to see a huge increase shortly). Did they remove the "choose how many count as fulfillment" option at checkout?

Re: Blu-Ray Enrollment Titles?

I used to do a lot of CH memberships for DVDs but gave up maybe six-seven years ago when they began consistently rejecting my membership enrollments. This is too good an opportunity to pass up, so I just tried signing up again with an all-BD enrollment. We'll see if I get accepted this time.

I've never been an account cycler, but I may have to get in the game now.

Did the 7:2 deal and got the following for approximately $12..

The Wiz
Sahara
Casablanca
Carlito's Way
Ghosts of Girlfriends Past
Quick & the Dead
Thomas Crown Affair

Is it safe to say this recent CH development is going to be the "new" BOGO?

Damn, was hoping the '33 KING KONG might have snuck on there. Stupid DigiBook crap.

It's apparently a members-only title. I see it when I log in.

Currently $20.97. I might use it as a fulfillment if my membership gets approved.

CH has it spelled License and it's the only Bond that is not available as an enrollment.

BTW, Braveheart is now available. Since Paramount just made a comeback to the club, they are slowly but surely adding their titles to the enrollment site.

Re: Blu-Ray Enrollment Titles?

I used to cycle through a few accounts a year but kind of gave up on CH 4 years ago or so and started buying blu-rays. I've been waiting for them to have blu-rays available for enrollment, so time to jump back in.

Hoping that "American Beauty" follows suit.
