Do you have a code you can share, or is it unique to each member?

Also, by instituting a buy 1 Blu-ray now, to qualify for a BOGO next month, they have effectively transformed the deal to B2G1.

I used to be able to buy a Blu-ray and get a free DVD for around $25 shipped. Sell the DVD, and I net a nice new Blu-ray for around $15. Can't do that anymore.

A new BOGO code would be most welcomed now. For a limited time, you can pre-order the Blu-ray/DVD Combo of Iron Man 2 for just $19.95.

True. I'm done with CH anyhoo... I Pre-ordered Se7en BD to fulfill my final commitment.

I assumed it was a unique code for each member but I just checked and it looks site wide to me. Give it a spin to see if works for you...

Appears to work on an unfulfilled TVonDVD account even though the banner indicates it's "Redeem your DVD from the Summer Wave of Savings". Buy 1 get 1 DVD ends on 7.31.2010 at 11:59pm, EDT.

My account that has this offer shows the same code.

Looks like I may fulfill this account before the 31st...

Thanks, got it to work one time. In other words, my cart showed one full-price item and one free. When I "doubled down" with two more of each title, the cheaper one was $7.95. I even logged out and tried to repeat with a separate order. It read, "offer has expired".

Oh well, at least that takes care of one.

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part VI

I wish it did work on my 2 TVonDvd accounts!
Well, it does, BUT on both of my tv accounts,
the Blu-rays are at FULL PRICE!
That's even before the code is entered, and on one of those accounts,
I DID make a qualifying purchase last month.

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part VI

The Get a Free DVD promotion from last month was useful. CH emailed an offer for each of my accounts to take advantage of getting a free DVD this month since I bought one last month. I found that there's a loophole that allows you to select a "collection" for your FREE DVD but it only works with a few selected titles. As long as your qualifying purchase is high enough you can select one of these titles for sure and possibly others... The Red Shoes Criterion Collection. 8 1/2 weeks Criterion Collection and so on.

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part VI

Loophole??
You've always been able to get a "Criterion Collection series" dvd movie for free in a bogo offer, as long as the full priced dvd is equal to or higher than the price of the Criterion.
Same rule applies to all dvds... with the exception of boxed sets of course.

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part VI

I am desperate for a B1G1 code to use with the Clash of the Titans BR/DVD combo coming out tomorrow. I was able to use 20100715BRT1D (listed above) but stupidly used it with Iron Man 2 which doesn't come out for a couple of months. I now find myself on the verge of ordering a DVD without an accompanying free one, something I have never done with CH. Help save me from myself!

I have free shipping on DVDs and Blu-rays on my two unfulfilled TV accounts. The good news is that the 20100715BRT1D BOGO code does stack.

Cool, thanks for posting. I got Seven BLU and a DVD for $22 shipped. Strangely, it wouldn't work with most other pre-order BLUs (Robin Hood, Iron Man 2, Hamlet).

Fortunately for me, I only lost a buck from an order that I placed last week. I pre-ordered Iron Man 2 for $20 plus $5 shipping and it's now $24 with free shipping. BTW, CH must consider the Kick-Ass Blu-ray/DVD Combo a set because they are charging $5.99 for that title.

That was what I ordered as well, should have checked the price on Iron Man 2. Now it is probably not worth the hassle of cancelling and reordering. Bummer would have been nice to have saved $5 oh well.

^

Considering CH's customer service can sometimes be a nightmare, I wouldn't rock the boat over a buck.

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part VI

NEVER... EVER... cancel orders or do change orders with CH customer service!
You WILL regret it. They will screw your account up and it will end up costing you more.

Spiffy.

Just did my first new enrollment (6/2) in almost a year and got immediate acceptance with credit card. Got a Blu-ray pre-order and a DVD B1G1FS with the code. If they count as my two commitments, it'll be the CH trifecta ...

Yea, it seems like the MO with this code is "one time use". I hope this isn't the new norm. Have any of you old timers seen coupons with one time use restrictions? (I can't remember any).

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part VI

^The B1G1 code is actually for people who purchased a DVD *last month*. It just so happens it works on *any* account whether or not you actually made a purchase last month. Because it's a "reward" code it's a "one time use".

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part VI

I am planning on making my first CH order in over 2 and a half years, using the above code.
I have finally decided to pull the plug on the Rambo DVD set.I noticed that using this code,I can get a Criterion for free.
I am pretty sure that since I am getting a set,it kills free shipping..correct?
Instead of the Criterion,is it possible with this code to get any Blu Rays free?
