Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part VI

They now have the three Hitchcocks that were released last month but with a release date in March. Hopefully they'll have another good code in the next few weeks that will make the prices competitive.

I noticed the addition as well. Always good to see CH add titles. Even if they do add a promotional code, I don't think that CH will be able to beat the $10 per title that I paid at Costco.

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part VI

I just thought that I would mention that the fulfillment glitch is alive and well. My copy of Hugo(2D Blu-ray) shipped today and it counted as 2 fulfillments even though I only paid $18 and change(used the $10 off of $25 code from last month).

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part VI

I ran all of the numbers and the following code appears to be the best-

20120302BCST6

This code will get you $5 off of $30, $10 off of $40 or $15 off of $55.

Thanks for this, James! Just used it to finish off an account.

With shipping, this deal is reduced to just barely all right. Maybe. It makes stuff a little less than 50% off if you stay right at the limits for the latter two. Free shipping or at least something like triple bonus points would have made it a lot better.

BTW, my email offer was considerably worse, just $10 off $50. So thanks for the better one, SBJ. I'm still thinking about it.

Unknown. It just states that it's a limited time offer. I wouldn't be too surprised if it expires at midnight.

It still worked this morning, Monday 3/5. I got an email this morning re-offering the $10 off $50 of last Friday, so I thought it might still work, was too busy over the weekend to use it. Gave me $15 off an order of $55.71, thanks!

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part VI

I think it was in December, but I left an item in my cart and logged out of CH. After a day or so, I got an email saying there was a special offer and that I would get a discount by clicking through the email. I actually didn't see the email until after I purchased the item, but an email to CH took care of it.

So I decided to try it again. I've tried it twice. I get emails saying to click to see your savings, but nothing is ever discounted in addition to the normal discounts. These have both been on different accounts. Anyone else try this?

Also is the 5 off, 10 off, 15 off, determined by the amount spent or of the MSRP (the CH glitch).

EDIT: The amount of the 5 off, 10 off, is determined by the actual cost of what you are spending.

Was going to post that, they sent that to as the second email this morning, as an "Oopsie", after their first one offering free shipping didn't work. I pre-ordered Bodyguard & Casablanca 70th anniversary, both releasing on 3/27. They're a couple bucks cheaper than Amazon, even with the $5.99 shipping for Casablanca as it's 3 discs, any other title included in the order is free shipping. But Casablanca gets 6 bonus points so with Bodyguard I got 24 points with triple points on the order. After they ship I'll have 50 bonus points, enough for 2-3 free BDs, and I've already redeemed points for 2 free BDs this year. Casablanca is one of WBs big box o' fluff I usually avoid, but it's a new 4k scan and supposed to be a nice upgrade from previous BD releases, and I was able to sell my 1 disc BD on Amazon for double what I paid for it.

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part VI

Couple of titles I noticed that are currently cheaper than Amazon....

Adventures of Tintin 3D
CH - Pre-Order $24.57
Amzn - 27.99(or goldbox price of 26.59)

American Pie films
CH - 11.97 each
Amazon - 13.99/14.99/14.99 each

went with Adv. of Tintin 3d since its FS and got 6 points for it also

20120309TRT3D

$15 off your order. No minimum.

WTF. How can this be possible? I just placed a few orders. I'm tempted to just place an individual order for every Blu-Ray I want.

20120309TRT1 will get you $10 off, no minimum. You can use this code if they kill off the $15 code or for titles that are $10 and under.

Ordered a couple for the price of shipping($2.99).

It's still active. You can place 10 orders with the code. However, you will have to use a different credit card after placing 5 orders.
