Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part VI
like always, this is one of those times you have to play with the cart, I got the prices back to the $7.95 price by entering the code and clicking apply after everything was in the cart. also I notice if you put things in the cart and let it sit there for a long time prices change on their own.

I just saw this on a pop-up:
"To redeem Coupon Codes received via email, please enter the code during checkout. Coupon Code offers supersede all other online offers and cannot be used for catalog or phone orders."
So it seems that have eliminated any sort of stacking.

That's some new release. I'm talking about the Special Edition double disc set. It's actually $14.97.

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part VI
Everything shows up as full club price on my account except Blu-Rays are showing 40% off regular price.
None of the codes work, there is nothing offered at $7.95 and the account is actually showing a "balance due" that isn't valid because all the orders were paid with a credit card on the account. In other words, the site is horribly broken once again.

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part VI
ok found it
yeah the two offers don't stack
it's either free shipping and 14.97 without buying another or pay for shipping and pay $7.95 + buy one over $19.95

This is what I have for the $7.95 offer, but I can't get the banner and it doesn't work in the checkout.
Is it going to become effective tomorrow mayber?

^ The $7.95 offer doesn't require a code. You just need to add one to your cart over $19.95, and the rest will be $7.95. Of course, you have to pay shipping on everything, so $7.95 is really $10.95.
What a f***ing racket.

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part VI
Right, but if I login and use no code I don't get the $7.95 prices... instead everything is full club price.... even if I put 20 discs in they are all over $20 each when I add them and when I go into checkout. I tried killing the cookies and deleting history, everything including logging into my accounts from another computer that I've never used before with the web site. The only thing that will work right now is the free shipping code from this forum which bumps everything back to 40% off (an improvement over what I had before that and acceptable for some of the discs I need that are $5.97... normally 9.95)

^ That is bizarre. Are you in your TV account maybe?
If not, make sure you've removed the free-ship code from your cart. Empty everything, then add a common DVD (not Blu-ray) title like The Blind Side. Go to your cart and click "add another", "add another", add another". If you're not getting $7.95 on the duplicates, I don't know what's up...

I placed an order just now with the 40% and free ship. Then logged off, logged back in and everything goes in as full price, no matter how many I add:

I have no idea. The only thing I can think of is you are selecting Blu-rays or you still have the free ship code in the promo box.

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part VI
No, I'm not selecting Blu-Ray. I've only bought one BR in my life from the club, but I've bought hundreds of DVDs from them over the years. I don't have the free ship promo and no free shipping when I go to the cart. It's as if my account just doesn't qualify for the 7.95 promotion for whatever reason.

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part VI
Cool... Thanks!
As usual... I'm keeping my only account open for items that I intend to pre-order on BD anyhoo... and waiting for free shipping on those.
The Exorcist pre-order for me @ $20.97 shipped. Cheaper than Amazon by $3 and free shipping + bill me + 2 bonus points (getting closer to a freebie cheap ass BD + shipping). I'm in.
Tempted by Jacob's Ladder but I have Se7en shipping on the same day and Lions Gate BDs at Best Buy have been pure win lately. So, I'll wait.

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part VI
I have an account where I only pay .99 per item for shipping so
that deal comes up as a winner:
Subtotal: $20.97
Shipping & Processing: $0.99
Total: $21.96
Thanks for the tip... Amazon is 23.99 + shipping which I believe is around $3 if I remember right ....

Good point. I've been waiting for Casablanca to fall and it never does. So I ordered Casablanca, The Maltese Falcon, and Treasure of the Sierra Madre on BD for $15 each with no tax and no shipping. I've paid more for other Blus and these are 3 of the finest films ever made. I'm happy with this deal.
