Re: Blu-Rays - Three for $60
i know this might be a stupid question, but i've been looking to fulfill my account for about 10 months now. if i use this deal (with the 3 free SD dvds), will it count toward the 2 dvd's i need to fulfill so i can cancel (it's a TV club account)? Sorry this is such a basic question, but i've been out of the loop for a long time.

Re: Blu-Rays - Three for $60
This is an OK deal, but far from the best. To really make it a good deal, you have to really do some comparison shopping, to make sure that whatever BDs you get at $20 is a better buy than buying at "regular" CH price or elsewhere (Amazon, BB, Walmart, etc..).
I might be preaching to the choir, but the first rule is you NEVER EVER select any BDs that cost less than $20 on CH's website. Most wouldnt do it, but somebody reading this might. The next rule is really to only select movies regularly listed at $29.95 (and above) and then compare the retail price elsewhere to see if theyre being sold for under $20. There is no point in paying $20 for a film if Amazon is selling it for $16.99.
The last part is probably the hardest, especially if youre more interested in BDs than DVDs. If youre going to use the stack code to get 3 DVDs for free, you have to select films that you can either give away (or sell) or are not currently on BD. I'm not one to really try and flip movies I buy off any site, so I've actually bypassed adding the B1G1 stack code before since I cant really use DVDs, for the most part.
But, on this deal, I elected to buy the following movies, using the B1G1FS code:
Star Trek BD (priced at $19.99 on Amazon)
Inglorious Basterds BD (priced at $19.99 Amazon)
Public Enemies BD (priced at $19.99 on Amazon, although Amazon has since lowered the price to $16.99)
True Grit DVD
Magnificient Seven DVD
Cool Hand Luke DVD (will be a gift).
Although I kind of lost in the Public Enemies price after the fact, I consider this purchase a solid B. It's not the greatest deal I've gotten, but I felt like I maximized it to the best of my ability, considering I no longer order pre-orders from CH and made selections based on what I wanted at the best possible price.
If you partake in this deal, make sure you do the same.

Re: Blu-Rays - Three for $60
Be careful with this.. It should, but it doesnt always work.
I've done a couple of code purchases on my TV account and the application towards my club commitment didnt always take, even after I earmarked it during checkout.
If it doesnt work, good luck with CH's customer service, since it's hit or miss you'll even talk to someone that fully understands the english language.

Re: Blu-Rays - Three for $60
I agree, it is only a good deal if you are buying BDs with a CH price well over $20 (all mine are MSRP of $39.95/$34.95)............
To be honest, there are a few DVD titles I buy time/time again because they get me back about $14-$16 each after costs when reselling on other sites (I won't post title names because having 50 copies suddenly listed with mine will really hurt my return).................otherwise, there are really no DVDs I buy for myself anymore so once my ability to resale goes away, I won't be doing this deal anymore either. If nothing else, this latest holiday season shows that we really shouldn't buy any BD for over $15 unless it is a favorite we want right away.

I emailed them about Night of the Creeps but haven't got an answer back. I ordered it anyways if it isn't the BR I have a friend that wanted it and won't care if it's the DVD version so we will see. I would think that if it's listed as the BR version they will honor it.
It's not looking too good for you. I just checked and the product description no longer says anything about it being a Blu-ray.

I ordered Moon on Blu-ray through this promotion and it's still showing as "Processed" but not shipped. I ordered The Hurt Locker in the same order and received it a few days ago. Did anyone else that ordered Moon have it shipped yet?

Re: Blu-Rays - Three for $60
Many new pre-orders (ex: Zombieland) are now working with the 3 for $60 Blu-Ray deal, but I can’t find a B1G1 code that will stack with it. Anyone find one that works?

Halloween II, Zombieland, and Pandorum is working for me. It doesn't seem to be stacking with the B1G1 coupon 801490 though; all the Blu-rays are returned to MSRP when I add the coupon code.

It never was to my knowledge. It was only on certain titles. If you click on special features, there is an ad for the 3for$60. It is still there. A few more titles have been added.

I don't know if this will help anyone decide what titles they might want, but I now have a complete list of BDs in the dataminer database. If anyone is aware of any missing titles from the list, please let me know.
See the dataminer thread for more info. Happy shopping.

Re: Blu-Rays - Three for $60
What I meant by "site-wide" is that it would still work when another offer code was put in. I had 3 titles in my cart & they showed @ $20ea. When I put one of the b#g# codes in, they reverted to regular price. I didn't try any on a "list" in either respect - just figured that they didn't work anymore.

Re: Blu-Rays - Three for $60
Appears that 2012 & Hurt Locker (and maybe others?) are now part of 3for$60 BR special.
edited to add:
Well, that doesn't appear to be the case all of the time. In my DVD account, it works. In my TV account it doesn't. Go figure.
