Care to share with us what standard DVDs are the best choices here?

The code is active, but it doesn't appear to be giving any discount past 60%?

How do you know that? The one last year this time was a straight $10 off. IIRC, I used it with a BOGO FS code to get 2 titles for $2.90 + tax, shipped. Not too bad.

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part V

Does anyone know if Code 801490 - B1G1 is still working? I am trying to combine this with the code for 3 bluerays for $60? Here is what I have in my cart:

The Hangover - BR - $20
My Sisters Keeper - BR - $20
State of Play - BR - $20
Train
End Game
Last House on the Left

The last three are not bluerays . . . I noticed other people saying this worked for them, however, when I enter the code, it says invalid. Any suggestions? Any other B1G1 offers out there?

Thats real good and I hope that it turns out to be like that. But, forgive me if I dont put any faith into Columbia House of giving away instant discounts when 99% of their discounts are predicated by first purchasing something at regular price.

Then again, it's just my opinion. We'll see what happens.

Scroll back a couple pages.. there is a BOGO code that stacks with the sitewide 3 for $60 BD sale.

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part V

^ This could be a question of how one enters a sale code. If one is entering it in the cart, then one is doing it wrong.

You're right to be skeptical.

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part V

Not sure what was going on, but I went to order my 70% off by getting 1 at normal, then I picked up the 3 (though as others said not sure if actually went to 70%? Will have to to check again.)

THEN I noticed, since one of my selections was a classic, that it had Modern Times for free. So I added that to my cart. THEN I noticed it showed The Circus for free. So sure, I added that to my cart. THEN it said that Walk on the Wild Side AND The Kid were free. So yep added those to the cart. These were the ONLY movies on the page that showed up that way. So I ended up with 8 movies for $47 and free shipping.

None of my movies were blurays either. Did I miss a code somewhere? My order says "free with FunCash" but it didn't use any as far as I can see.

To make it weirder, went back to the site to search for those movies, and a search doesn't return them.

If it said "free with FunCash" and then when you go to search for them they don't exist, it's usually a glitch in the system where the title isn't actually available, but not all of their databases pick up on that. Unfortunately, you won't be getting them.

I jumped in for I Love You, Man, Forrest Gump, and Braveheart in blu with three free DVDs and the promise of a useless $10 off next month. They'll probably be lower than $15 on Black Friday, but this deal is still solid.

yep, you're not going to get those. I also ordered the circus, modern times and Hearts and minds all "free with funcash" along with other things. Those three dropped off my order and i called to ask why, they looked up by the id number and said CH is no longer able to get those DVDs.

I think you were smart to jump on the deal for Forrest Gump and Braveheart, as I dont see any black friday deals involving each movie individually. It's possible that Paramount could have some sort of deal should you buy two, if not all three of the Sapphire Series films, but, I seriously doubt that it would be significantly better than the CH deal.

Yeah I feel pretty good about those prices. I've also been very surprised at how high I Love You, Man has stayed since release. I was getting tired of waiting for that one to drop.

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part V

I'm finding many movies in the CH search engine for enrollment that aren't coming up when I'm in my active CH account. I'm trying to set up another account, but I'm worried I'm going to put these movies into my cart and do the enrollment and then end up getting a bunch of vouchers. Does anyone have any info or advice on this matter or has anyone seen this occur where movies are in the enrollment searches but not the open accounts?

These must be from the spend $60 in October, get $10 of in November promo. Looks like they may work as a straight $10 off

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part V

Interesting... Did anyone get an email from CH about the November $10 off thing? The terms said we'd be emailed 11/4, but I never got anything.

No email for me yet either. I bet those codes will only work once per account.
