Well, it looks like the BOGO sale is over, and the site is now accepting codes again.
Hopfully we'll get some decent codes to use soon.

801490 is active (buy one get one free) but you have to pay for shipping.

I missed the economics seminar

Love the chatting, not really the attacking. Anyone who hits below the belt is is just immature and stupid. But I'm probably TOO rational/unemotional, live long and prosper lol Dif-tor heh smusma in Vulcan language as spoken in Star Trek: The Motion Picture lol

Ok - so i called columbia house today - my account says it has $838 in FUN CASH! lol BUT, when i try to apply it, it says i don't have enough - i guess when you go over the $144 dollar limit it goes back to zero or something - lol - Anyone else have this problem? This is the second time its happened to my account.

(And speaking of stupid. The lady I talked to, (from India it sounded like), was a complete b*tch! WHAT IS YOUR CITY AND STATE! Settle down honey. I should have just hung up on her right then and called back for someone else. Live and learn.)

Stupid freakin' fun cash. It's not cash, sometimes its fun, but it is definitely NOT worthless.

So I think I got my account fixed. The last order I placed 10 days ago like magically disappeared or something. Wish I could reuse the promotion code I used without having to wait another week or two until it is active again. Oh well.

I have been doing expedited shipping which is now done by like UPS or Fedex and not USPS as in the past. It hasn't been working well for me. Anyone else doing the expedited shipping?

Thanks to everyone (especially you know who) for posting the promotional codes!

I'm not sure how to interpret your comments. Are you talking about ME?? Can you show an example of me attacking someone?

Actually, I'm not sure how to interpret much of what kotu has written so far. Last post was a bizarre mockery of someone/something coupled with a question about the average age of people here, which also seemed like an insult directed at someone but without any kind of indication of who that actually was.

And again, this thread is not for "chatting."

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part V

Something I realized today...

I did not take advantage of the BR BOGO, because of having to pay shipping. THe final deciding factor of not even getting a few cheaper titles, was being a little strapped for spending cash right now .

ANYWAY, I thought about how every month for the past few months, like last week, they have had a sale that is all of the sales for the previous month combined into one big sale. If this holds true for next month, there may be a sale code with free shipping that we can stack on top of the BR BOGO to make it our classic favorite sale of all time.

I hope so. I'm strapped for cash too, but I'd be willing to pick up 10 titles then if this does happen.

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part V

It makes more sense to wait for a buy 1 get 1 blu ray sale. Your cost per disk is bit high. Sometimes I'll buy 1 bd to qualify for discounted dvd's but you probably wouldn't buy more than 1 in this sale.

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part V

Still limited codes. At least there's one Free S&H (short-lived as it will be) that LKRUNNELS pointed out -

801490 - b1g1 unlimited
802334 - b1g1 unlimited + ??
802364 - b1g1 unlimited + ??
805640 - b1 + 60% off + Free S&H

Add 2 more to the short-timers -
802441 - b1 + 50% off + Free S&H
809441 - 40% OFF + Free S&H

I stopped the page from loading, and it looks like it might be (at least for me) 825609. Didn't try it myself, don't care much about fun cash at the moment.

That range is CHs' new default code range - nothing usually too exciting in there. Mostly b1 + 50/60% off stuff.

I tried the code, no luck. It works when you click the email link tho, must be user specific?

Re: Columbia House Sale Offer Codes, Part V

^Looks that way. I got the same code when stopping the page load from the email link. The account on which I received the TFC email offer has this as the default offer even if I don't use the email link. The other account I have does *not* have the offer at login, I did not receive the email on it, and when attempting to use the code I get a "invalid code" error. Both fulfilled, 1 regular (got the offer), 1 TVonDVD.

Damn so there are no active free shipping codes right now? That would make this $6 fun cash deal sweet.
