That's crazy. I've never heard of that kind of thing before.

I have had a total of, I think, 4 back-ordered DVDs in my history of probably 500 or more (I'm reluctant to explore my collection for the true number) DVDs from them over the years. Two got canceled (Space 1999 megaset, I'm still bummed about that--it was an awesome fulfillment title--and DOA--which I should have expected not to get, based on the title), and the other I got within a month, but I can't remember the titles.

It does kind of seem like CH is doing something funky with your account. I can't believe that those titles would all really be back-ordered.

I just g ot this for the first time as well. It's always sunny in Philadelphia: Season 3 was what I ordered and now it is supposedly backordered. I even got a letter in the mail telling me so. I find it pretty strange.

During the recent B1G2 I ordered Interview With the Vampire on Blu-Ray. It showed up as backordered and I got a letter in the mail saying such. Four days later the movie showed up in my mailbox.

During the B1G4, I had 8 go on back-order. Every order I do, I get a notice saying that they are on back-order. I called, and they said they stopped somehow, because I wasn't supposed to get that promo. I got my B1s though...and got charged for them. Permanent back-order city for me.

I ordered a spongebob set last week, went backorder, got a ship confirmation today for it. If it's been longer than 3 weeks, I'd give a call.

Sometimes, at least as far as I've noticed, then tend to add a 'backorder' to orders that have a pre-order included. that way when they don't send out the available titles they can say it was on backorder. since the dark knight was part of your order, i'd be willing to bet tomorrow everything ships.

It's happened to me twice. Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do, except wait. I received one movie shortly after I was told it was back ordered. But, I ordered Unforgiven and was told it was back-ordered and never got it.

I'd call to see what the status is. If it's been a while, just cancel it.
