One of the changes made to the new C.H. website is that you can't view the deal of the day without having something in your cart. I thought it might be convenient for forum members to have a "one-click" spot to check out the current D.O.T.D.

DON'T FORGET: there is almost always an active code that will let you get FREE S&H on the D.O.T.D. (as of July 11th, 802231 works).

I think we use to have a thread like this quite a while back but it quietly died.

But, it's nice to have it back, especially with the new "improved" site workings.

Do you plan to update the first post daily or put it in a new post keeping the old deals around to taunt those who miss a DOTD on something they might have wanted?

That's very possible. There *was* a very long time frame in which the DOTD was around for a week or frequently longer.
