Well, I got the e-mail re: AG-HD being backordered and will cancel in one month ect...
I checked the statud of Elizabeth:TGA, it says pending. I don't really know waht that means, but I assume it's getting radt to ship or something. I wish they had a way for me to cancel AG online, but I could not find anything. Wouls I have to call to cancel?
TIA

You would need to call or e-mail Columbia House ([email protected]) to cancel an order. It isn't easy. CH is not a store, it is a membership club and is not set up like a store. Trying to cancel part of an order can really screw things up and is not recommended.

Just because they say a title is backordered, it doesn't mean that they won't get it in a few days. There is no way of knowing except reports from others here who happen to get the title.

Already put 10,000 BC on the list last week. But I added the 16 new ones.

10,000 BC was a huge disappointment. Everything good about that film was part of the trailer. Download the trailer and save yourself the cash. IMHO

I was surprised to get The Golden Compass BD yesterday, right on release day. Haven't received the shipping notice yet and it is still listed as pending in my account. The curious thing is that the BOGOF title it was paired with didn't come. If they were going to ship them separately, couldn't they have shipped that one two months ago? Typical Columbia House!

The downside is that disc 1 had a bunch of factory supplied finger prints on it and after I cleaned them off I noticed that there appears to be some crazing of the disc. Don't have a player yet, so I can't test it. I am less than pleased with the quality control by New Line. But CH sure did a good job in getting it to me on time.

Received The Golden Compass yesterday as well. No finger prints on mine, thankfully. Fulfilled that account now, and ready to cancel.

There is a b2g1 free offer on blu rays. They also no longer have a hd dvd section, strictly blu ray but if you do a search for say american gangster, the hd dvd still shows up as available.

Does anyone still have the URL for the HD-DVD section?

Aah! As if the B1G4 code wasn't enough, now they've added a TON of new BDs.

There is an HD DVD clearance section.

If I posted a link, it wouldn't work for the rest of you, so here's how to get there...

Click the "Now Featuring" link from the left hand menu (under Explore Features at the bottom)
There is an HD DVD Clearance button on the page

You can also get there from The Gift Center and then click the Now Featuring button...continue from there...

This may also help browsing (though the data is a week old now, may be a tad out of date).

That's what I was thinking. "Clearance" usually implies a discount.

I think I have managed to add all the new BD titles to the list in the first post of this thread.

While I was doing that, I noticed that some BD titles are now missing from the CH catalog. Perhaps they are just out of stock for now:

4789301 Harry Potter Years 1-5 Limited Edition Giftset - Blu-ray
4733705 Mission: Impossible III Special Collector's Edition - Blu-ray
4733101 Shooter - Blu-ray

Is anyone actually getting the "B2G3 with a code" to work. CH changed my order from $107 to over $200. I may place another order if there's a chance it may go through.

A bunch of Paramount Blu-Rays are up for pre-order for 6/17, including Cloverfield and There Will Be Blood.
