Both Disturbia and Dreamgirls were released on Blu-ray Disc before Paramount went HD DVD exclusive. Stock is still available at some places. It is entirely possible that Columbia House managed to get some copies that were remaindered elsewhere.
If anyone actually receives a copy from Columbia House, I'd appreciate it if you would say so here.

incorrect. the best buy near my house has loads of dreamgirls and disturbia on bluray. CH recently (in the last week) started shipping these titles out...

Picked up Troy: DC HD DVD with BOGO, took It's a Wonderful Life CE as my free one just to fulfill my membership. Since I can't think of any other SD DVDs I really want to spend money on at this point, this will be my last CH order until they start a true HD/BR club.

Added a bunch of new Blu-ray Disc and HD DVD titles to the list.
Please be aware that most of the newly added Blu-ray titles have been available for $10 or so the last few days from the Amazon BOGOF sale. So, they definitely are NOT a good deal at Columbia House.
Edit: There is now a BOGOF sale for HD DVD at Amazon so some of the HD DVD titles are much cheaper there than at CH: http://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.htm...75031&plpage=1

It would make sense that all the Blu-Rays I bought before CH carried them are the exact same ones that CH would end up carrying. I also bought Children of Men from DDD because I didn't expect it to be at CH.

Even though a bunch of HDDVDs and Blurays have been selling for $10 in the B1G1 Free sales, I may still buy them from CH. I've just about run out of things to buy nowadays on the DVD side and with an avg cost of about $5 per disc, I've held off ordering anything that CH carries in those sales.
Now if only CH will have a club exclusively for HD.
