Has anyone applied within the last seven days?

I have applied for two accounts in the last week and haven't heard back on either one of them. I am wondering if anyone else has seen the response time slowed during the last 7-10 days or so. Usually I get an account approval within 3-4 days max after I apply.

Yes! I applied last Thursday for normal DVD account and no word on an approval yet. So I tried a different one yesterday, and nothing yet on it. This is also one of the first times I have not heard back in 3-4 days.

I very RARELY have this issue. Maybe a box will just show up one day.

I applied 5 days ago. I got a confirmation email but nothing after that. Neither did my previous 2 applications (one in December and one in November).

The code I use 5 days ago was the one that they mailed to me asking me back.

I've probably had about 10 accounts with CH over the past couple of years and only once have I actually recived any form of confirmation via email. The rest of the time I come home from work to find a big brown box sat on my front porch. Not that I'm complaining because it always feels like Christmas when that happens

Tried for two last week and 1 this week and no charges have shown up yet. Glad I'm not the only one.

Did you pay the enrollemt fee with a credit card or did you select bill me?

I selected bill me for these 2 accounts as they are going to my father's house where I already have 1 account.

I applied for my first account in months last Friday (1/12) and have not received a charge to my credit card or a "welcome to the club" email. Maybe they're all on vacation after the very busy Holiday shopping period. This would also be a time that they might be down taking inventory. Glad to hear that it isn't just me.

Thajenius - How many more DVDs at "regular club price" are you required to purchase?

I selected bill me, and had it sent to another address than my other account. However this account is my second account, but i have had the other one for over 4 years.

Had pending charge for the tv club Monday , but that disappeared and no acceptance e-mail.

Also got a e-mail thanking for application for regular dvd club last week then nothing.

3rd application in 6 weeks and zero confirmations. First time this has happened to me.

Well, I just got approved for my app from Tuesday last night. It was a new email I hadn't seen before so maybe they were changing things up a little. Hope the rest of you guys got one too.

Yeah, it is rare to get them to allow more than 2 accounts open at a time. They usually send out a letter asking why you need more than 2.

I also applied for a TV account over 2 weeks ago using HDL and have heard nothing. I used a CC at checkout. Has anyone applying to the TV account been accepted recently?

I applied 1/15 using HDL and received acknowledgement email. I received an email with my account # on 1/19. This is my 2nd open TV account (4th overall).

That's the way it used to be! Ok, thanks for the info. I will keep my fingers crossed and hope to see an e-mail or a box at my door!

The weird thing about my most recent approval is that the initial charge showed up for a day and then dropped off and they still haven't charged me for the enrollment package even though the account status page shows they have.

It has been awhile now and I still haven't heard a word. I wonder what is going on. 2 applications later and still no approvals to an address where I already have an account that is open and fulfilled.

I applied yesterday after not applying in over a year and a half. Hopefully it comes through. Used one of the 6/1 codes.

I applied Sunday 1/21.. I have not been approved for an account in like a year. I have tried from time to time to sign up with no luck. This time however i did get an email right after so maybe that is a good sign ? Perhaps the other applications got lost ? We shall see if i get approved or not!

I used 43T (Bill Me Option)
