Yes, there was. I submitted an app right after reading that "just because", got the "thanks for your application" email and have heard nothing since. It either "got lost" or I'll get a card in a few days (it's been 2-3 weeks). I was doing a gamble that they would send out the selections and "cancel" the mandatory 2 purchases if the club was closing that soon.

Good to hear. I just put in an application with 27B, we shall see if it works.

Re: CH Enrollment Codes Part II

Anyone else not receiving emails from Columbia? I applied for 2 new accounts, both approved because I got the packages Saturday and today but never got the first email outside of thanks for your application.

One was using 27B and the other was C7L paid at the time of enrollment.

I never got one. I was surprised when my enrollment package arrived as I had applied almost a month ago and got no word other than the application notice.

DITTO!
I just signed up for a TVonDVD account and got the thanks_for_app email, then nothing. 2 weeks go by and I think the app is no more, then all the sudden a package at the door yesterday.

Used 27b just 3 days ago and received an acceptance e-mail today. Much faster than I remember them being, and according to some posts in here, much faster than usual.

Re: CH Enrollment Codes Part II

Just now I tried a phone order with AS6 , and then 27B, both were shot down as "invalid, not in the system."

I hope they didn't purge the 7:2 with FS codes over the weekend...? Anyone else have one work? I called the standard 888-242-3837 number, got an english-speaking operator right away. TIA.

I believe 27B is online only. Not sure about AS6 though

Re: CH Enrollment Codes Part II

AS6 is correct. I haven't tried it in a while myself. But I wouldn't give up on the code just because 1 CSR said it was invalid. And as HappyRabbit said, 27B was online only, so never worked as a phone enrollment. I don't even know how people find phone enrollment codes.

Re: CH Enrollment Codes Part II

Can anyone report a AS6 being accepted by a phone operator this week?

I had no problem getting it accepted two weeks ago. Certainly possible that my CSR yesterday made a mistake, but I'm concerned they may have just killed that code.

I recently received the 7:2 code 2BV in a "we want you back" e-mail. Haven't tried it, but it should work ok.

Re: CH Enrollment Codes Part II

Tried AS6 on the phone and they said it was invalid. Called back with 2BV and they said that was invalid, too. Tried 2BV online and I got a temp charge on my credit card (with my last few online applications, mostly with 27B, I never even got that).

Re: CH Enrollment Codes Part II

Anyone know why Columbiahouse.com won't let you add more than 1 title for enrollment? When I click on 1, then add a 2nd, the first vanishes and is replaced. ...can't....get....new account....

Usually codes received by e-mail do not work on the phone. And most codes we post are from e-mails. If anyone gets one by regular mail, it might work.

Just try calling (during normal business hours) and check for yourself. (As always, be sure to call 888-242-3837 for new enrollment attempts.)

More than one person, chances are it's a new problem, and not the old one of cookies being deleted.
If you're not using any cookie-cleaning security program on your computer, then deleted cookies is probably not the problem.
If CH had changed its cookie data structure/info, and you had old cookies, they could interfere, but if you deleted those cookies, and then visited the site, the new ones should be OK.
So, I rescind my previous statement. Sorry I can't help further. I tried (for a third time) to sign up for the 2@$2.99 price just a couple days ago and the site took my order just fine. Of course, I'm expecting another lost app, but at least the site functioned normally for me.
