I received 2 on different accounts, both that expire on the date as the oens above. One was BOGO and free shipping, and the other was BOGO and free shipping when you buy 3. Both also have unlimited at 50% off.

Just opened up a new account and will probably fulfill with that

They can. The first item in a B1G1 must always be a title $19.95 or more, then you get the second one free (7.95 if you want).

You can't buy one 7.95 title and then get another for free.

Unless you buy a set... For example, you can grab the 4400 at 13.97 and still get a free title.

The caveat in that case is that the set has to have a list price of at least 19.95.

Yep, forgot to mention that...and, of course, you'll always have to pay shipping on the sets.

None of that ever works for me on any of the accounts I try. I just got Without A Trace S1 last week for a xmas gift and it didn't allow a free title either. Just tried it again with the new codes and neither that nor 4400 allow a free title. YMMV I suppose.

anyone else having any problems with this? (on a fulfilled account)

I tried with some titles and it didn't work.

I had 'Clerks 2' in there with Fifth Element and it charged me for both. But if I put 'Superman Returns' in there with 'Fifth Element' it worked.

Can someone see if it's just me or the same for them. Both are pre-orders which has never beena problem in the past.

Clerks II is normally priced at $21.95. The Fifth Element is normally priced at $22.95. You cannot take a $22.95 title for free with a $21.95 title and you cannot take Clerks II as the freebie because it's a pre-order. It works with Superman Returns because that title is normally priced at $22.95.

Damn. I placed an order, but on the confirmation my free title changed from Forbidden Planet to Talladega Nights, which cost $3 more. You aren't supposed to get pre-orders for free anyway, so that doesn't even make sense!

EDIT: I re-placed the entire order, and it was fine the second time. I figured it would be easier to cancel the first order than to get them to correct the price... I hope I'm right and can cancel it in time...

I too received the same emails.

I closed out a couple of accounts and took care of Christmas at the same time, so that worked out for me.

I know there's a limit on the same title they can ship, can anyone tell me what it is? I ordered 3 copies of 'Clerks 2', one for myself and 2 for Christmas presents. I'm thinking that would probably be ok

Question - should one be able to fulfill an account with this? Because when I punch in the codes I am getting them at half price and no fulfillments, rather than one at full price as I have seen in the past.

I have been out of the loop for a year or so - not even sure if BMG has been letting you fulfill with sales as we were able to do in the past.

If you need 1 fulfillment you should be ok choosing 1 title at $19.95 or above plus 1 free and free shipping. If you need 2 fulfillments you are better of placing 2 separate orders of 1 at $19.95 or above and 1 free. To get the $5 off though you need to order $30 or more worth of DVDs in one order (so you could add 2 "cheap" titles of around $5-6 each and basically get 1 of them "free" when you go over $30). Also remember if you add any sets/special price DVDs you won't get free shipping. You should also have a free DVD when you buy one reg. price (Munich or Just Like Heaven) on your right on the main page.

Not sure if this is a glitch - but when I try using the B1G1 code on 2 $24.95 titles, they show up as half-price with no commitment - but the $22.95 titles show up with one at full price, fulfilling a commitment.

^There are a bunch of titles that are on sale now without any other purchase. I imagine you are trying to add 2 of those to your order, in which case they will both show up as the sale price. I'm not sure if you can force one to be at full price with the "How many count towards commitment?" link, as I don't have an unfulfilled account to check on.

There aren't too many 24.95 titles, maybe I can guess what they are?
Lord of War and Harry Potter?
BTW, WOW(SE) is OOS, and will likely mess up your order if you try to get it.

Got the confirmation for a new membership today and went ahead and fulfilled it with the only commitment I needed:

Product Title Selection # Price
Airplane: "Don't Call Me Shirley!" Edition 04295606W $7.48
Mission: Impossible 3 04553806W Free
The Da Vinci Code Special Edition 04470605W $19.95
Munich 04390407W Free

Subtotal 27.43

Shipping & Processing 2.99

Tax 2.52

Total 32.94

Not sure why there's $2.99 in shipping when the whole order should have been free shipping (is it Munich?).

All in all this membership costs me $51.77 for the following:

V for Vendetta
Carlito's Way UE
Event Horizon SCE
The New World
Syriana
Capote
MI3
Airplane don't call me shirley
DaVinci Code SE
Munich

$5.17 per DVD

It is the Munich disc. It did ship for free a couple of days ago. They started charging the $2.99 shipping on Thursday night.
