Yeah, I noticed that one on DVD Aficionado a week or so ago, same date. It disappeared so fast in theaters that I guess the studio figured three months from release would seem longer than it really is.

^ Yes, picked those up this morning, along with some others. Also, Clerks 2 is back, with a release date of 11/28/06 (used to be 12/5/06).

Columbia House added ten new pre-orders today [as always, the updated list is in the first post of this thread]. Nothing too exciting but I thought I'd mention it because it is very unusual for them to add so many titles at once.

Superman II: Donner Cut

Anyone have a hunch whether or not CH will add "Superman II: The Richard Donner Cut"? It street dates in 2 weeks, so not much more time to add as a preorder. Strange that they're offering all the other new Superman/Superman II deluxe editions from Warner Bros., but not the Donner Cut DVD. Anyone have a theory?

Unlikely, James Bond is MGM according to CH.

Probably not. My guess would be that Columbia House chose the Theatrical SE thinking it would have more mainstream appeal and match the other SEs better. (I presume that the Donner Cut will be in the mega set; is that true?)

Those of us in HD DVD land get only the Donner Cut from WB but not the Theatrical. Go figure.

And even though Fox is distributing MGM titles now, MGM still controls HOW they are distributed. This is very good news; I was concerned when I heard that Fox would distribute MGM titles that they would disappear from Columbia House.

Those titles should appear just after Christmas. CH has traditionally delayed their(Columbia Tri-Star, Sony Pictures) titles of becoming available for enrollment until after the holiday season.

CH has the new Special Edition of A Fish Called Wanda. It's selection number 4388807 and shows up with the same cover art as the old edition, but it's the new one.

Yeah, you're right! 0367508 was the old selection#, which has quietly been replaced with this new one. Hopefully that means this will be available for enrollment in January.

^Added A Fish Called Wanda Collector's Edition.

I have no way to scan for these titles that don't show up on the pre-order list, so this "heads up" is appreciated.

It was there just a few days ago, but yeah it appears to be gone. It should show up again closer to release date. Same things happened to Crank and Clerks 2.
