Thanks. I've been trying for about a month on eBay but they've been pretty much going for $40-55 shipped, which is a bit much for me (especially since I want 2), but I've been bidding anyway. I thought this might be a better (or at least more affordable) way.

I just ordered a copy for myself, so it looks like I've got 2 more I can order. I can probably do it for you.

It should be present in the A-Z list. I just received one from them last week.

Thanks. The link was broken, but I found it in the A-Z section like you suggested.

I can get Ducktales Movies for anyone who wants it as I'm not getting it for myself......

What's the big deal with it anyways?

Didn't see it mentioned yet (maybe I'm blind), but with the current enrollment code 785047, they raised the price of the 1st four DVDs to 1.99 each.

Thinking about joining, any tricks as to maximize the deal?

It doesn't look like any sets or high priced titles are included in enrollment selections. So i guess just try to pick 6/7 titles that are the 19.99 range in stores?

I gather that Ducktales is hard to find and should be chosen, any other rare titles in the enrollment selections?

Save Ducktales for fulfillment, as it is regularly 19.95.

Don't choose "rare" titles. Choose DVDs that you want.

Thanks for the Ducktales tip.

And good philosophy on just buying titles I want.

My problem is that I want all of them.

So I'd rather choose titles that are pricier/potentially oop.

That is the price UNLESS you pay with a Credit Card. With a CC used for payment the charge for the 1st 4 DVDs drops to $1.00 total with FREE shipping on the entire order.

As for maximizing... I would either get the titles that are over $11 each from other vendors (roughly the "average" you'll pay if getting all 6 enrollment choices and buying 3 fullfilment titles individually), Disney DVD Club "Exclusives" (one of those is the Ducktails, BUT as mentioned by SFranke it's best saved for a fullfilment as it is regularly $19.95), or soon to be back in the Vault titles.

One of the best enrollment titles IMHO is the Zorro series. Currently 5 season 1 "sets" are available (this is the entire 1st season) and the regular price is $21.95. Be warned that this release is Colorized... but, it's one of the best colorizing jobs I've seen. And they are Disney DVD Club Exclusives. Can't be purchased anywhere else... yet... (unless you count "partner" merchants at amazon and ebay)

I have the same deal and it really only amounts to $5 OFF and FREE shipping when you total everything up.

Such as the aformentioned DuckTales movie.

$19.95
$ 9.95
-------
$3.95

You're getting 2 selections for around $35 shipped. Averaging to $17.50 each.
The discount doesn't amount to much if your only buying a few discs. The more titles you buy the better the discount. I recently used a different code, with the same discount, on a handful of titles that I had been meaning to pick up and the average cost came out to $10.97 per title.

I guess you can call to verify ...
The good thing is that even if they don't come with the slipcovers you can call Buena Vista and they will ship you the slipcases once you say you have ordered the dvds from the DMC (disney movie club) ... they can ship out 4 replacements in a year ... but you need to let them know you called because the DMC gave you their number to get the slipcases.

hope that was helpful.
Does anyone have the number for the Disney Movie Club and Buena Vista, can you call and ask DMC if the movies i want come with the slipcover, or do i have to just take a chance.

Yes i always ask about the covers when I call dmc about movies and if it doesn't then they tell you to call buena vista for the missing cover...

1-800-72-DISNE
(1-800-72-34763)

MON: 9:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. (central)
TUES-FRIDAY: 9:30 a.m - 6:30 p.m. (central)

good luck they say it is limited to 4 per year or lifetime but not sure ... you can just list what you want so when you call them you don't have to fumble around looking for numbers (they will need the numbers on the spine of the cases ) makes it easier.

Any good codes right now?

I'd take anything that can just reduce the price (or free shipping) on my order of The Muppet Show Season 1.

Yeah, but the set is $29.95, I would either need free shipping on all orders or a code for a % off.

Not trying to spam the thread, but anyone else know a code for a discount on 1 item alone?
