I'm somewhat new with Hastings. Had good luck the first couple of times, but not this. First two items I ordered were cancelled. I'm waiting on the third and crossing my fingers. Still, if it worked for you, an impressive sale.

I tried using them again after a long hiatus but they aren't any different now than they were beforehand. They don't pay careful attention to orders, they end up sending you the wrong merchandise and then you have to haggle with them just to get a refund back, so after this order, I'm through with them. Just food for thought.

sending you the wrong merchandise is pretty normal for them as their inventory management is terrible. but they don't really hassle you for getting a refund. sometimes they ask you to just keep the item and refund your costs - otherwise they send you a shipping label to return the items on media mail. its a bit slow but it works and you will get your refund fairly easily.

Totally agree and I have to give it to them for honing up to their errors, they refunded me and allowed me to keep the wrong item, but you're right, their inventory management has to be one of the worst of all retailers online or brick and morter.

In the past, I ordered a Ozzie and Harriet DVD and they sent me the wrong version because there are a dozen public domain titles out there. At first, I was bummed--until I realized the one they sent contained some episodes I didn't already have so it worked out in my favor.
