I am probably 2 seasons behind on True Blood. Does Best Buy still have a 50% off HBO sale around Christmas? If so I think I will wait for the final season.

There's a lot of stuff on sale in-store particularly in the TV section but the prices aren't very good for the most part. I spotted a few releases that were on sale for higher than the sale prices they had just two or three weeks ago (ie. The Millers: S1). And I'm always wary of deals right before BF. In at least some cases, I think the stores like to try to squeeze a few extra bucks out of shoppers with tempting sales before they lower the titles even more on BF.
One deal that jumped out at me was About a Boy: S1 for $14.99. That's the lowest I've seen it so far but it's not a show that I care to own. In addition, one of the TV shelves with older shows has everything on sale for two weeks (until 11/22) including 24: S7, 24: S8, and the first two seasons of Boy Meets World for $7.99 a piece.
In the end, there was nothing that I had to have. More money for BF.
