WB Archive buy 2 get 1 free -- DEAD
No announcement on the home page, just appears in the basket. For awards season, so probably won't be there past Sunday.
Does anyone know how often the "5 for $45" sale occurs? The present sale still comes out to $12 plus per archive DVD.

I'm just annoyed that the 1936 Show Boat was shoveled into the Archive, 5 years after George Feltenstein announced a swanky Blu-Ray set of all 3 versions (1928, 1936, and 1951) during a 2009 Warner HTF chat.

Starting today for one week they have a 5 for $50 on the 1st 450 films added to the archive from 2009.
Sight seems down at this writing.

Their website says "5th Birthday Sale: Week One". Hoping we'll see 5 for 45/50 on the rest of the catalog, as this unfolds.
Anyone care to guess what the following weeks of the sale will bring?

The oldest discs have already been marked down (remember these used to have a face price of $20 each, and now they're almost all less than that), so that they normally sell for $14.95-$16.95 each. The more expensive discs are the more recent ones, so they may or may not put those on sale at 5 for 50.
