From a previous post: "The last 6 discs in this set from the 2nd Mystery Movie Collection are in 1:78:1 anamorphic widescreen, not 1:33:1".
Does anyone know if this has been corrected?

I think that it has not been changed. With these later TV movies, Universal filmed them in a way that allowed either a traditional full screen or a widescreen transfer. The aspect ratio of this set was discussed in detail in a thread on Home Theater Forum. The effect of the widescreen presentation is that there is a little bit more information on the sides of the screen and a little bit less on the top. I would have preferred the traditional full screen aspect ratio, but it is not the case that Universal just chopped off the top and bottom of the picture to make an artificial widescreen image.
