The item doesn't actually come out until Nov. 5th. So it will not ship until then.

I'm thinking it's like the Beverly Hillbillies and Petticoat Junction sets they shipped to arrive on, or shortly after, the release date. Those, too, shipped early and I had them in hand about a week before the date in the shipping confirmation email. I expect this to be the same.

I got my shipping notice to. I paid an extra $1.97 for shipping and it says it will be delivered on 11/5 by fedex.

I just checked the shipment weight and see that it's 2.2 lbs. Seems a little light for this 29 disc set but maybe they're right or it's a rough approximate weight.

Just received mine (I didn't pay for shipping) ... The packaging is 4 plastic cases (one for each season) inside a cardboard slip case. The discs are single sided. Don't have time to watch it right now but look forward to watching some later.

I ordered mine from Amazon, since I'm a Prime member and could get free shipping. I got a shipping notice today, with delivery on Tuesday. It's awesome that this deal held up!
