Re: WBshop DVD sale (mostly $3.59)
I checked my statements for 2013 and no fraudulent charges were made. I have used WBShop, however that was after March 2013. I also didn't create an account with WBShop and store my credit card with them, I just checked out as a guest. I'm relieved all is well, but I'm definitely going to be checking my statements more often. I'm also more concerned about using my credit card anywhere but Amazon now.

In fact, for those who check online banking daily (imo a requirement in this day & age), UNEXPECTED very small charges should be a HUGE red flag.

Hmmmm.... that may explain the $1400 fraudalent charge for a travel website. I don't remember ever getting a letter.

I received the letter yesterday as well. The fact that we are all discussing it on a thread related to WBShop makes it hard not to think it is related. I don't save credit cards on WBShop either but I was hit twice. It appears to be related to the company validating the cards and not WBShop itself. So we are probably all at risk. But that doesn't mean just WBShop since the company probably services many purchase sites.
In my case, I have made several purchases from WBShop during the last several months (March - Sepetember) when the problems appear to have occurred. I noticed a false charge for around $50 related to a conference in Australia (never been overseas's). Contacted AMEX and they took care of it as well as sending me a new card. Then another bogus charge on the new card from PA for $2.50 at a carwash (I live in MD). AMEX questioned that one and tipped me off. I received another new card last month.
So it wasn't just an attack in March, it has to have continued at least into August when i received the first replacement card. I wonder if that means they really do have it covered now that they sent out the letter. Especially since this started in March.
I have a new order I wanted to make as well, but now I'm not so sure. Switching out cards so often is a pain when you have auto-decductions taken out that have to be corrected.

It's not really a problem on a true credit card as you get refunds including interest. Where is it a problem is on a debit/credit card; the time I got hit i was out the $'s for about 3 weeks.

WB Shop responded to my DM on Twitter regarding the Datapak letter:
"Yes. Datapak assures us the issue was resolved and their system secured. We are monitoring closely."
I received the letter, too, but after checking my CC bills, I haven't had any untoward charges.

Re: WBshop DVD sale (mostly $3.59)
Has anyone who ordered from this sale actually received anything? I ordered 12 titles on 10/4. They have my order divided into 2 shipments. They have charged my card for the 8 title shipment, but have not shipped. Both parts of my order show as processing.

Yea... that has happened to me in the past... and is happening currently. Sometimes it will just show up and you'll get a shipment confirmation days after you already received it.

Good to know WB has stayed with Datapak - that assures I will not use them again. How that's not an insta-drop of their card processor I have no idea.
BTW I had not saved my card details on WB either and it happened to me. Also look for charges from Walmart.com or Apple.com.

My order was split between items that ship in one day and items that will ship within 10 days. The one day items shipped. The 10 day items are still in process.

Broke down after looking at all the titles and at $3.00 apiece decided to place an order on titles that stated "Ships in 1 Day" Its been 10 days since I placed 2 orders and neither has shipped! Worst Customer service I have ever experienced on the net IMO!!! These folks SUCK!!!

Some of them are mulit-use. However the best way to check it is to log into your account and adjust the quantity of some item to test if the coupon works. Pretty easy.

Today I received 4 DVDs out of 7 from my first order that I placed on 10/6, no word yet on my second order.

I received all my one day titles. Still waiting on the 10 day titles. My Easter Parade blu ray ordered during this sale was missing the documentary Judy Garland: By Myself. Contacted customer service and they will be sending a replacement. They mentioned that this sale is to clear inventory. I wouldn't be surprised if many of these titles end up at the archive soon.

I ordered twice from this site with a week apart from each order, and received the both orders today. They also split up a few in smaller deliveries, which I have not received yet.
They gave me two extra copies of Austin Powers and Friday the 13th: Jason Lives. As far as I know, I wasn't charged for them. I checked my package order, my email, and on the wbsite, and nothing lists that I ordered two of them. Weird.

This sale is definitely the last gasp of catalog DVDs from Warner; everything is going to be dumped into the Archive from now on or sold at the TCM shop for a ridiculous markup AKA TCM Greatest Classic Films Collection.
