Same here plus the fact I've never even heard of this series. It's one thing to blind buy a series I've at least heard some people talk about as being interesting, but another to blind buy one that was clearly canceled (since it's the "complete series") and I've never heard of before.

At that price it is worth it. Yes it isnt state of the art, but I am enjoying it so far.

I dont mind the cheesy models / effects, just wish it was a better transfer. Quality isnt that great, and no subtitles. The dvd tells you to go to their website for extras.

I vaguely remember this series. Part of the golden age of sci-fi syndication in the 90's thanks to TNG where everyone was trying to do a first run syndication show.

btw price is back @ $12.99 and according to Wikipedia it's on Netflix for anyone wanting to sample.
