I went to BL yesterday, and it was a big dud. Six bucks for a partial season of Smallville. lol I did spot the 3 disc set of King Kong for $3.00, but I already own it.

Could you pick up Season 4 for me since AMAZON says it hasn't been released yet?

No Space Ghost here in Northampton, MA, but plenty of Bond. I'm always up for bad horror movies, so I picked up The Resident and Harpoon. Also, they had The Fog (John Carpenter) for $3.

Re: Big Lots Part 10 - List your FINDS here (NO trades)

Picked up Star Trek Voyager Seasons One and Two at the Longwood FL Big Lots (17/92 and 434). Didn't see any of the other things mentioned on here I'm looking for: Presidents Anaylist, Plastic Man, Cartoon Classics of the 70s. This store only has the 4 sided wire rack which was pretty full. Didn't have time to look through everything.

CORRECTION: Sets were Season one and two of Enterprise, not Voyager

^ I think that's the first time I've seen Voyager show up (at least since I joined).

Do you have any Walgreen's nearby? Plastic Man has been showing up a lot there.

To those who have found the Star Trek sets:

How much are these Star Trek sets? $8 or $10? Do they fit in with the rest of the dvd's or are they found elsewhere in the store?

I've looked everywhere, the last time and this time around, to find Come Back, Little Sheba. If anyone sees any copies in the Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood area, please let me know.

Re: Big Lots Part 10 - List your FINDS here (NO trades)

Correction. Found Season One and Two of Star Trek ENTERPRISE. They were $10.00 each. Two copies of each were standing on top of the wire rack. I've noticed that the stores I visit in the Sanford Florida area sometime put the Tv sets on a shelf away from the other DVDs. Never hurts to ask or look around the front near the registers.

Man, was at the Fayetteville Ga store yesterday. NOTHING! Still seeing World According to Jim, Dave S1, and other shows that I think have been sitting there for 3-4 months. guess perhaps it's our turn to see most everyone else get interesting titles, and nothing in the ATL.

I am also pining for the Little Sheba/Stop Making Sense/Columbine shipment. (Moo listed it here: http://forum.dvdtalk.com/dvd-bargain...l#post11195878 .) Went out yesterday for a mini BL drive, but didn't find much more than what was available locally. (If anyone is keeping track, I did not find any Space Ghost or Saturday Morning Cartoon collections...although I did see a 1980's volume at a supermarket for maybe $7.99.) Does anybody know if this shipment reached the mid-Atlantic states?

In retrospect, I'm wondering if the Little Sheba was a left over, it's the only copy I've seen. I also made an error, the Talking Heads was True Stories; I always get the 2 Talking heads titles mixed up.

That's probably right for the one I saw as well. Now, check this out, I was in a MD BL today on a whim looking for the Star Trek sets and found nothing, so I went around the store to check for the book section. I was looking through the books and finding one or two interesting items here and there (Chaplin 2008 Bio) and suddenly I see, out of nowhere, a DVD stuck in between the books. I didn't even realize it was a book. I first saw the title, PLASTIC MAN, and pulled it out and saw that it was the complete collection for $3. I don't know if someone put it there to hide it for later or what but it's gone now.

Also found That's Entertainment, Part 2 and dot the i.

Re: Big Lots Part 10 - List your FINDS here (NO trades)

Pearl Street Tacoma Wa got 3 small identical boxes. I didn't count, but they looked to be 25-30 per box, & 1-3 per title per box. $3 batch. The only title worth mentioning (& the only one I remember) is restock on Bela Lugosi's Return Of The Vampire.

Re: Big Lots Part 10 - List your FINDS here (NO trades)

"Saturday Morning Cartoons: 1970's Volume 2" finally hit Lancaster (2 copies). Most of the $3 titles Deet listed above are there as well. The only James Bond title was "Die Another Day", which had probably been there a while. No new TV sets or Space Ghost.

If anyone was curious, I found a "Come Back Little Sheba" at a local grocery for $12.99. Not cheap, but on the lower end of what you'd pay on Amazon or EBay. Copies are out there!

Re: Big Lots Part 10 - List your FINDS here (NO trades)

It seems the majority of members on here must be older than I am based on the titles that excite some of you. Nothing wrong with that however.

I still have yet to see Plastic Man or Space Ghost which I'd be interested in.

Last time I was in the local it was full of the 007 movies that have been mentioned already and they had a fair amount of other new stuff but nothing I would want.

AND I noticed the dvds that have been sitting for a while had actually been moved around on the shelves. Maybe they think if they 'shuffle' the dvds people might buy them again.

I'd guess the same, but as you say, I don't think it matters. When I post I try to list everything, and if I can't, I try to make sure to include different genres and eras. So my interests aren't necessarily reflected in the titles I mention. I may not be interested in "Bring It On", but someone else may, so I figure why not take the extra few seconds to post it with the rest?
