Hmmm...

I'll have to keep an eye out of "Lois And Clark" and the remake of "Nikita".

Were these cut outs?

I didn't check for cutouts. I almost purchased the three seasons of the Maggie Q Nikita but decided to wait. I did notice that those three sets were not cutouts. They were putting out two copies of each. The racks/displays were pretty full so I'm guessing there were probably more in the back.

Re: Big Lots Part 10 - List your FINDS here (NO trades)

I went to three BL (more in search of the Harry Potter BR set than anything else), and saw all the tv shows recently mentioned between 2 stores, while the third had nothing (except the Thomas the Tank).

Only title seen not listed previously was La Femme Nikita S4 (one copy to go with one copy of S5). At one store I saw exactly 1 Nikita S1, with at least half a dozen of S2 and no S3 at that store, while at the other store I saw a few copies of S3 and around 20 or more of S2.

The local BL is even running out of food; the shelves are pretty empty these days. There is rumor it may be closing.

Did a quick trip to the store on Tuesday.

Did see "Lois And Clark" S2 and yeah they're cut.

They also had repackaged version, not in a digipak.

Re: Big Lots Part 10 - List your FINDS here (NO trades)

I had a $5 off $15 coupon expiring so decided to pick up two TV sets. The first computer crashed and then the second wouldn't take the coupon. After a lot of time reading the details on the coupon the cashier told me that the two $8 titles were ringing up for $14, and looked at me accusingly. So, apparently that promotion is back/still in effect. I grabbed a $1 Matchbox car, waited again in the suddenly very long line, and then gave it away to a mother in line behind me.

With this weekend's 20% off, has anyone seen any significant new titles lately (dvd or blu)?

None here. It's still the same stuff they've had since before Christmas. I know my wife'll want to go in and look around Saturday but I also know I'll not be purchasing any new titles.

Grabbed Hats Off to Dr. Seuss at my local Big Lots for $7 -- but well worth the cost. It has all the old television productions including The Grinch and Horton Hears a Who.

How's the video quality? I haven't had real good luck with TGG.

Re: Big Lots Part 10 - List your FINDS here (NO trades)

Today I picked up Wildfire season 1 for $0.50. It had a $10 sticker and it had scanned $5 over the summer when I went clearance mad. I was surprised it had dropped so low, but very happy with the find.

Re: Big Lots Part 10 - List your FINDS here (NO trades)

I went into my Boyertown,Pa. Big Lots today(Saturday 1-24-15) and forgot about the 20% weekend until a clerk told me. Then I realized my store hasn't received any of the new TV set DVD's and this has been two weeks since they were reported on here. If they came this weekend, they will probably intentionally withhold them until Monday so we won't be able to avail ourselves of the 20% discount.

The NoHo store on Vineland Avenue got in yet another shipment of those Disney Blu-rays from a year or so ago. Priced at $10, but only $8 with the 20% sale:

The Help
I Am Number Four
Mars Needs Moms
Sorcerer's Apprentice
Spooky Buddies
Treasure Buddies

also saw:
The Muppets (wocka wocka value pack)
Heroes season 4 (tagged at $8)

Re: Big Lots Part 10 - List your FINDS here (NO trades)

picked up:
Conan 10th Anniversary Special / Best of Triump the Insult Comic Dog - .48
Bobby Deerfield - .24
American Flyers - .24
Scrooged - .40 (Christmas is 90% off + 20% coupon)
SNL A Very Gilly Christmas - .40
Opus N Bill A WIsh for Wings that Work - .40
Dennis the Menace Christmas - .40

and a few other DVDs for around a buck

and
House S6 BD - 5.60 (2/14 - 20%)
La Femme Nikita S2 - 5.60
The Event - 5.60
Hats Off to Dr. Seuss for 5.60
Muppets Wocka Wocka - 8.00 (theoretically I could get this a little cheaper at DMC, but it might not come with a slip and it's only about .75 more ).

really wanted A Christmas Carol 3D, but couldn't find a copy. I've been checking off and on since it was initially found and haven't see a copy.

Overall pretty good, since I was gonna pass all together. Decided to go to another BL and that's where I found the heavily discounted stuff. I hadn't been there in ages and decided to go through all the old stickers.

Will everyone be allowed to use this coupon tomorrow (Sunday 1/25/2015)?

As long as you have a rewards card, you should get the 20% off.

Thanks very much for mentioning that! I grabbed the very last copy from one store on Saturday and got it for $0.40 cents (plus tax) with the sale. Never seen the show before, but it's not like I'll ever see it for much lower, so I just bought it.

I was a bit bummed that Spin City S1 seemed to have the same colored label, but was still $10/$8 with the sale.

Meanwhile, I grabbed a copy of Up in the Air for $4 after discount. I'd never seen this before either, but apparently it's the original discontinued version with some extras, while there's a newer version that I hear doesn't have any. The barcode was slashed, but I don't mind that too much.

Thanks for mentioning that! I thought they stopped at 50% off. I picked up:

Creature Comforts - Merry Christmas Everybody
Jiminy Glick in La La Wood
The Nuttiest Nutcracker
Opus n' Bill in A Wish for Wings That Work
The Perfect Holiday
The Smurfs Holiday Celebration

All rang up $0.40 each. Jiminy Glick wasn't a Christmas DVD, just old stock from 2012.

Its not bad at all. They are definitely on the lower end of the quality spectrum but its certainlynot public domain. I have collected quite a few MGM OOPs thru their TGG releases and been glad to have gotten them lesser known titles for great bargains.
