What is going on with those Peanuts 1980s Collection DVDs? Any chance WB will release it?

Every Warner DVD has a different short featurette.

With the overlaps and extra features between discs, it sounds too complicated to keep track of the existing Peanuts DVD releases (and again I don't own a single Peanuts DVD). All I know is this: I love Peanuts (especially the older stuff) and would buy them all, but I'm not going to buy them piece-meal with overlapping material on DVD-5 discs at high prices. If whoever owns the rights to these ever gets off their high (or greedy) horse and issues a complete set of these (or even just starts doing complete volumes like Columbia/Sony did with The Three Stooges) for a reasonable price (I don't know what that would be yet), then I'll gladly buy them all (yes, even those historical ones).

Until then to me it's as though Peanuts doesn't even exist on DVD. I just hope my old VHS tapes hold up if I ever get the desire to see some of these.

^ same here. Do it right or dont fucking do it at all. Waste of money, and space to buy what they are doing.

I wish I could say the same. I have two kids that are the perfect age for these so I've been buying most of them. I wanted them to experience Peanuts and they love 'em.

Geez that was quick. I was lucky enough to get it ordered...been trying for a few days now hoping I would catch it when the price dropped. It had said 8 left then after I placed mine and posted that message it was down to 5 and then all gone again.
