I've been waiting for price drops on these, though I'm not sure I'll get the kovacs set since it doesn't have the bonus disc.

Forgot to thank the OP for the Johnny Staccato tip. I ordered that along with the H.R. Pufnstuf Collector's Edition that recently dropped to 19.99. The standard version is on sale for 14.49 but I need that bobblehead to complete my "trip" down memory lane.

You hit the nail right on the head. It all depends of how big of a fan Sam is of this guy. I never understood Kovacs's humor but to each his own. Not a bad deal at Amazon but yes, Shout is notorious for overcharging on their sets but they have decent customer service. For that one disc to me, it's not worth it.

There's the odd chance that SF produced lots of bonus discs & will have to unload them at some point (which might be easy for those in LA to find...but eventually make it to EBAY)...or that the material turns up in another box set, as many reviewers have stated the set is far from complete.

While poking about looking for other TV box sets on sale (and there's a lot of them), I found this: The Spy Collection Megaset (The Prisoner / The Persuaders / The Champions / The Protectors). Right now as little as 12.42 shipped for 14 discs. Check the reviews to decide if it's for you. The Prisoner is only 4 episodes so throw that out the window; the other 3 shows are all complete previously released first volumes of each set.
