Nice! I'd have bought the hell out of this if I didn't do their XVI, XVII and XVIII sale several months back. Can't justify the double dip, even though I really want that XIX for $25. :/

I want to get in on the MST3K DVD love but I am a completist and since so many of them are out of print I just can't bring myself to do it.

All of the single releases are still available (used or new) at reasonable prices and Shout! Factory is starting to re-release some of the singlets. Most of the boxes are available used or new at more or less reasonable prices. Boxes 8-10 (not 10.2) are the problematic ones, but patience and cash can sometimes work wonders.

Don't buy used DVDs, fecal mater content is too high.

FYI, MST3K XX is available for preorder from Borders.com for 51.99. Use the 40% off coupon BLW6742R (good through 3/7) to get it for 31.19 + tax. And they have free ship to store(though not to the ones that are closing). You can also use a shopping portal to get a few % more back(check evreward.com).

That may be a joke, but I actually received a "like new" copy of Joe 90 with some substance attached to the disc. The seller squawked because I got it so cheap. He got a negative for his poor listing.

It's not a joke, people do not watch their hands. Although I was more talking about the kind you can't see.

Aw crap! (No, I didn't find any on my $39 set that arrived today, but I forgot it was an all-Joel set and I am strictly a Mike fan. I could have skipped this set entirely!)

General rule of thumb:

Joel episodes start at episode 101 ("The Crawling Eye") and end at episode 512 ("Mitchell"*).
Mike episodes start at episode 513 ("The Brain That Wouldn't Die") and end at 1013 ("Diabolik"/Series Finale).

*Joel riffs the movie, but Mike is introduced as a character in the skits. Joel reappears in episode 1001 (Soultaker), but only in a skit.
