Very nice. Only missing four now with three of them being webstore exclusives. I see one more exclusive on the site, so I might come back for that later.

Sorry Seth, I was refused even a SAMPLE of those (I asked for one of all of the giallo sets). AFAIK, they were destroyed. I am unsure what happened but chances are they got hit with a cease and desist because several of those movies weren't PD.

Too bad....great sets IMO for the price. I say that now seeing the quality of course but so far as "PD", a giallo set is a great idea. I think the only people who got them were people who ordered direct from Allegro before the streetdate.

Re: Hamilton Books

I wish the website's Power Search was updated so that it includes 2013. Searching for new items since Dec 31 pulls up too many results and there doesn't seem to be any other way to find just the new additions.

We have that note up for the web developers Lang. Honestly not sure why it is taking so damn long, it should be really simple to accomplish.

Re: Hamilton Books

I just recently received the new DVD catalog in the mail, but have no time to read listing after listing after listing to find a handful of stuff I want and that still represents a good deal. Isn't there some way to highlight some of the better deals in this thread for those of us who may not have time to read the catalog or scan the website?

Prof I'd really like to but that would sort of-kind of constitute an advertisement. I don't pay Internet Brands to advertise here and I am wary of stepping on their toes. I mentioned an exclusive once here and they were apparently not happy so out of respect for them I have it play it safe.

Re: Hamilton Books

Then I wish others who have had a chance to scan the listings would highlight some of the best deals as is done on Amazon and other destination bargain threads.

Sorry to miss this for a few days Seth!

All our copies do have slips. We do stock photos for the website that kind of put "dummy" amaray cases on everything, so it might not look like it, but this title does come with a slip. It will not be re-ordered either as sadly it sold bad for us....otoh the 23 we have aren't going anywhere very fast either!

Re: Hamilton Books

GW, I just got the refund check for the OOS item listed above and would like to take advantage of the free shipping offer, but I wish I knew what some of the best deals are right now. I'd hate to miss out on one of those limited quantity titles again!

Oh hell since you asked I doubt IB can get too mad at me and I don't like to leave anyone hanging. The website is the safest avenue....is updated daily so normally unlikely you will be OOSed.

Good deals IMO(but keep in mind I am a Horror/trash man):

Iron Rose (Rollin, old Redemption version) $1.95
Schizo (Pete Walker, old Redemption version) $3.95
Burke and Hare (old Redemption Version) $1.95
Patrick (Synapse) $1.95
Strange Behavior (Synapse) $1.95
Dark Forces (Synapse) $2.95
Thirst (Synapse) $2.95
Nail Gun Massacre (Synapse) $3.95
She Beast (Barbara Steele, Dark Sky) $4.95

Dawn of the Dead Ultimate Edition $5.95 (going fast!)

Zatoichi: Blind Swordsman $3.95 (neat show, if you like those Shaws you might like this)

Bells of Death (VERY good Shaw Brother flick, IMO of course) $5.95
Last Hurrah for Chivalry, same as above, $5.95

Black Sun: The Nan King Massacre (not for faint of heart and not my kind of thing but we are selling it like crazy) $4.95

Rock Hudson Screen Legend Collection $5.95

Bunch of Kids in the Hall Season sets at $3.95 a piece.

Convict Stage (20th Century) $3.95

Flying Deuces Deluxe (Kino): $5.95

Some of the Shout Cormans are down to $5.95....others are pretty reasonable. Most are very fun movies.

Many of the Garr Group (publisher=TGG) 3 packs are down to $5.95. Good movies and not over-comrpessed.

M Squad Complete Series $54.95

Doris Day Season 1,2,3: $9.95 each

Anna Nicole Smith Collection 3 DVD pack (Includes Celebrity Centerfolds DVD): $7.95

Karloff & Lugosi Horror Classics $7.95

Das Boot Original Uncut $6.95

Freaks and Geeks: Yearbook Edition $59.95

GIORGIO MORODER PRESENTS METROPOLIS: $6.95 (funky one with the 80s music)

The DVDTees are down in price, some to $5.95. The T shirt is damn decent (I wear them often!) and has the original poster art.

We got a load of BBC in recently. You cna power search for BBC and format=DVD.

We should be getting in a load of Fox (classics) in a few weeks.

About all I can find quick...sorry if these don't suit your tastes Prof!

Thanks for sticking with us Seth and thanks for keeping the thread alive!

I'm always looking for new stuff....we began carrying Oscilliscope and Criterion frontline recently, someday I'd love to get Code Red and Scorpion, etc (tough nuts to crack). Any labels we don't carry and people would like us to I would look into!

Re: Hamilton Books

Thanks so much, GW! I'm also a horror/trash man, as well as just about any other genre and sub-genre you can come up with. Lots of good deals. I hope the ones I'm interested in will still be around by the time my postal order and the returned check gets to you.

Great! I spot checked these and they have a minimum of one months sales left (or more), based on past sales figures (which is somewhat iffy, they can spike but I used an average). And the next DVD catalog doesn't go out for a week and a half so you should be good.

Dawn of the Dead is the only one really pushing it.

My wardrobe is literally 25% DVD Tees now. It kills me they didn't sell better (I thought they'd be hot stuff!).
