Total 71.17 and my best deal this season. I got the same cover of Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things everyone else seems to be getting. Nicer cover and they both say 35th Anniversary so it looks ok. Nice surprise is Hammer Film Noir Vol 2 set coming in a standard 4-disk keep case instead of the clunky large box set.

My card was charged 11/25 and I still haven't gotten anything. I thought they were in Tulsa, just 90 miles from me. If I don't get it this weekend, I guess I'll have to drive up there and whup somebody's ass.

Yeah, I missed out the first time. Picked up DARK STAR [Hyperdrive] and HORRORS OF THE BLACK MUSEUM (which went OOP, fyi, the recent "Herman Cohen Double Feature" version has none of the special features).

Yes, I thought about selling my HORRORS OF THE BLACK MUSEUM and replacing it with the new double feature release until I noticed that virtually none of the extras were carried over. And I heard that the second movie on the double is pretty dreadful, so I am happy with my single release. It's a really good transfer, the extras are great, it comes with a reproduction poster and the movie itself is fantastic.

For those that missed out, HONEY WEST can be had now from Wal-Mart for $12.96 (not including tax) and free site-to-store shipping.

It has been sitting at that price for a while now but was listed as a pre-order (for whatever reason...pricedrop?)...as such it was not eligible for free site-to-store shipping. However, today is the "release date" so it is now active for free site-to-store.

Just an update on HONEY WEST at Wal-Mart...I tried checking for it on the site and it didn't even turn up in a search today. However, I tried searching for it through dvdpricesearch.com and it does turn up and is showing as in-stock (no change in pricing from what I mentioned earlier). I went through the order process (except for the final step) and everything seemed to work fine. So, if you missed out, and still want it then give it a go through dvdpricesearch.com (at least as of this moment in time).

Hmph. Based on previous posts they don't appear to be very communicative. I'm currently in the position of having placed an order on the 16th, having my credit card charged the 17th, but I just logged into my account to see my DVDs listed as "pending". They never even emailed order or account confirmations. I just sent them a couple of inquiries.

A question to those who waited & finally received their DVDs: what shipping method did you choose? I ordered 2 DVDs & selected First Class.

I got an email from them the next day with my tracking number. Unfortunately the tracking number only said shipping info was received on Dec. 7 and only yesterday got processed thru Dallas, TX. Media mail here.

USPS doesn't track, its just delivery confirmation. When it leaves/info received, when it arrives in the state/city and then when its left with you. Everything along the way is a mystery
