Literally came to post the same thing.

Stopped by today and there was a sign on the front of store indicating the item of the week was $1 DVDs and BDs.

At my location, the display was front and center when I walked in. The display was probably 2/3 full. No telling how long it had been out and how much it had been picked through. I only saw one of the Larry Sanders set. Definitely a great value on that one.

I made a few purchases and I blame this site for a few of them:

A 10 episode animated set of Heathcliff: King of the Beasts and a 4-movie collection containing Micki & Maude, Hanky Panky, There's a Girl in My Soup and Modern Romance. I think I would have passed on both of those, but the glowing reviews from DVDTalk on the reverse side of the cases convinced me I should pick them up.

Lots of other DVDs, but nothing that stood out. The only other one I picked up was one called Simple Justice, a PBS documentary of sorts from a series called "The American Experience".

My store also had numerous quantities of the 3 different BDs. I purchased Rushlights and The Watsons Go to Birmingham as blind buys. I passed on Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son.

Besides the aforementioned gem that is Big Momma's House 3 they also had:
