Was browsing Dollar Tree the other day and saw a CD sitting in the wrong section. Picked it up out of curiosity and it was an old Barnes & Noble exclusive. Looked like nothing I'd be interested in otherwise, but had to buy it of course.

Whoa, that is a pretty awesome find! B&N exclusives seem to be hardest ones to come across. For maybe the past half decade, I've had alerts set on eBay for a B&N exclusive for The Great Debaters, and I've still yet to be notified of what I've been looking for! I'm curious... what did you find, Trevor?

The last batch of Dollar Tree DVDs had that old Target exclusive of that Rene Zellwiger film, To Forgive or Not, or To Have and to Hold, or something like that.

"My One And Only" was solely released by Target on November 10th, 2009 for $14.99. Herrick Entertainment which produced the film signed a deal with the store. They were an up and coming company and used this method to get their product on shelves, guaranteed exposure.

The movie was exclusive available for rental through Blockbuster.

Haven't seen the film yet.

1. Big Hero 6 just won the Best Animated Film Oscar a couple nights ago, but I actually enjoyed some of the other nominees like The Boxtrolls and How to Train Your Dragon and some snubs (The Lego Movie) a lot more than Big Hero 6.
