Sick deal. I still haven't gotten around to viewing mine when it originally came out. Wish I waited all these years! At least I've grown more discerning with BRs. But this Herzog is a master and I do enjoy his movies. I just haven't found the time to go back and check this one out. I do recommend it at this price. DVDs have gotten so damn cheap nowadays.

Thanks OP, in for one. Combined with the Herzog Kinski set for sale at DD, this has been a great week to pick up Herzog's work. I was going to pull the trigger by ordering from Amazon UK, which has both sets for a good price, but read that our Region 1 set for the Werner Herzog collection was superior to the UK edition in that it had extra films in it that the Region 2 set did not. So I hesitated on ordering, and now the US sets have dropped dramatically in price. Wonderful.

Yeah I read that too but on the Amazon US site there have been complaints about disc failures and one of the movies missing but Anchor Bay has been replacing faulty discs...

They never had ship-to-store, but they do have store pickup if you're lucky enough to have it available locally.

I was at one of their Chicago stores last week and I saw a yellow sign in the store claiming that they do ship anything to the store that is not available there but in stock online, will check on this tomorrow.

In this particular case, it doesn't appear to be part of a specific timed sale, but just a random thing.

Thank God for Amazon's smart system. Was about to order this since I couldn't find the boxset, but decided to check Amazon's reviews first. Loaded it up and a message showed that I had ordered it from Amazon last year.

Now I just have to find it.....
