Re: Black Friday Door Buster Deals?? Tell us what you got!!
I bought the following DVD's for $2 each at Wal-Mart. Had to work until 7 AM anyways, so I figured I'd pick these up on the way out (I work overnights.)
![]() 30 Days Of Night I Am Legend (2 Disc) RocknRolla Miami Vice Semi-Pro And GTA IV for Xbox 360 for 10 bucks. All for under 20 bucks because of my 10% off associate discount. All in all, not a bad black friday. I'm deciding if I go to Best Buy right now before I go to bed though.PS After typing this post I went out to Super Target Around 9 AM and Best Buy around 930 AM or so and got the following... Best Buy: Madden 10 Xbox 360 35 Bucks Family Game Night Xbox 360 20 Bucks The Simpsons Season 12 13 Bucks Eastbound And Down S1 10 Bucks Super Target: The Office S2 13 Bucks The Office S3 13 Bucks The Office S4 13 Bucks Pineapple Express 6 Bucks The Dark Knight 4 Bucks Superbad 4 Bucks Was a good, fun BF 2009! ![]()

Went to Walmart around 3 and got the Playstation bundle. Probably could have shown up @ 5 and gotten it. The crowd was average, if you wanted the best stuff you probably had to get there around 1 am. There were some cool people in line, so it wasn't so bad.

Re: Black Friday Door Buster Deals?? Tell us what you got!!
Went to a Target at 5am and was in and out in 5 minutes with all the DVDs and BDs I was looking for. Very impressed with how Target had everything organized.

I got nothing. I wasn't planning on going out, but we had a prescription that had to be filled, and I had time to kill while waiting for it. So I went to Target in hopes of scoring a BD Wizard of Oz. It was just after 7 AM, and they were wiped out.

Scored 2 copies of WoO and GWTW. Was so excited to find those I immediately checked out and forgot to pick up Gremlins. Doh! But I can wait... I'm sure it'll be that price again once it gets released everywhere.

Managed to get Wizard of Oz blu, Veronic mars at Target and many $2 ones at Walmart.
Black Friday could be so much better if people would remember to take a shower, and some beano or gas-x before they go out though. |

I picked it up, but will likely return it. $12.99 is just way too much for a single film title nowadays. I'm sure it will be under $10 within a couple months.

Stood in line at Old Navy and got the free copy of Lego Rock Band and the free guitar for buying Rock Band Unplugged for $20.
Grabbed Monk season 7, 30 Rock season 2, Gone With the Wind BD and Wizard of OZ BD at Target. Everything else was bought on Amazon. Got several $10 BDs and a couple of cheap TV box sets there. |

Re: Black Friday Door Buster Deals?? Tell us what you got!!
Super easy morning.
Went to Target at 9:45. Picked up Wizard of Oz and Gremlins blurays for 12.99 each and price matched a ripstick for $46 I bought earlier in the week. In and out in less than 10 minutes. Then stopped at Best Buy and picked up We Skii and Boom Blox Bash Party for 14.99 each, Smallville season 8 for 9.99, My Sims Kingdom for Wii 9.99 and Left 4 Dead Xbox360 for 34.99. Literally in the store less than 10 minutes. Got to work by 10:30. Amazed by the lack of crowds and the overstock of items. Worked out great !! |

Re: Black Friday Door Buster Deals?? Tell us what you got!!
I didn't go early to Wal-mart but they had quite a few $2 DVDs left, I got Speed Racer and Phantom of the Opera. Glad I got Hellboy 2 and Casino Royal at Amazon though, didn't find those anywhere. Stopped at Menards too but they're $1.99 DVDs looked like stuff you'd find at the Dollar Store.

Re: Black Friday Door Buster Deals?? Tell us what you got!!
Picked up 79 of the $2 DVDs at Wal-mart to pass for office Xmas gifts. Found almost $115 in gift cards in a drawer, so out of pocket cost was around $52. Whatever doesn't get picked will be returned in a few weeks.
Got a few of the $7.99 BDs at Best Buy, put a few back after reading online reviews. $7.99 is a good price point for BDs for me. Felt good seeing so many $3.99 DVDs at BB that I paid $2 each at Wal-mart earlier. Cha-ching! Bought Wanted BD for $10 at Movie Stop while in there to check out their used BDs selection (nothing else caught my fancy at the prices slapped on them so far).

Re: Black Friday Door Buster Deals?? Tell us what you got!!
I went to Wal-mart some four hours after the sale started and there were still tons of $2 DVDS.
I got these for $2 each: Troy Monster-in-law The Lake House Phantom of the Opera The Devil Wears Prada Fantastic 4 Blazing Saddles Miss Congeniality Music With Lyrics Michael Clayton Ocean's Twelve The Princess Bride Along Came Polly Someone Like You Speed Racer Just Married Casino Royale (2 disc) Ocean's Eleven Young Frankenstein Some were gifts and some I bought 2 copies of - apparently no limit here! Also saw a few titles I've paid $3-5 each in the last year and never have gotten around to watching. |

Not a dvd but I just snagged the Beatles Stereo Box Set for $99 on Amazon. It was 100% claimed in a bit less than 5 minutes so I'm pretty pleased.
