Tell me about it! It took me an hour to get through the finishing process. If I wasn't getting Christmas presents I wouldn't have bothered.

Shipping a bit much but glad to find some deals. Could have gotten Batman - Dark Knight 2 disc for under $2 if site hadn't crashed yesterday (but found it new for $3.99 at Best Buy today).

Just got my order from last week and BLU-RAYs were terrible (previously had 3-4 good experiences). Both of my 2-disc sets came with only 1 disc, and my 1 disc set came in a case where the UPC had been cut out on the back and the front had rips.

On the plus side, I wrote and all 3 are being sent back for a refund. Still, not worth the trouble.

Well, I guess the deal is dead. I was putting together an order, but now the discount is no longer showing up (although it still says the promo code BLACKFRIDAY has been applied). When I read it was from Thursday to Saturday I assumed we had until midnight tonight (Sat.). Poop.

Just had the same experience and it's only 11:08 on Friday! It was showing 30% off and then nothing a few minutes later. I placed the order and emailed customer service. Every blu-ray I wanted would average $8 each after the BLACKFRIDAY code was applied, and I want those discs damn it!

Hastings is based in Texas, which is 2 hours different from Cali. I wrote about this about from their last sale, the always state sale ends Saturday. We commonly know that to be the end of Saturday, but from what I gather they make it the beginning of Saturday. Boo to them!

I'm going to take it up with customer service, though. If they're going to brag about great savings where "waiting in line [is] not necessary" and then cancel it 2 hours before a bloke's day is over, they're kind of full of crap.
