Maybe not for the Americans, but for those living overseas the "heynow" code has its biggest asset due to the weak Dollar, and that SS ship internationally.

However, SecondSpins prices are rather high compared to other e-tailors (Spun, Wherehouse, GoHatings, FamilyVideo etc.) dealing with used DVDs and Blu-rays.

I am going to bat for secondspin,when I add up at all the DVDs I have spent this year the best deals are from secondspin. Now granted I have traded some in (not a lot) and when I divide the number of movies I have bought (80) with the total cost I come out to $4.04 a movie.

There is no way you can beat that with Amazon and Deep Discount and I would also say that 75% of what I purchase is still sealed so it's not always used.

Which ones went up? My prices are all the same as they've been for months, except for Young Indiana Jones V1, which has gone up, and V2, which is no longer at a sale price. Overall, there are more things on my list at "clearance" prices (prices ending in a "7"), and things on sale (the lined out and reduced ones). I just placed an $80 order for 10 items. Thanks to all of you who are "skipping this."

They've lowered some prices too, at least on blu-rays. I noticed Last Holiday dropped four or five bucks (not sure how much it was before), to $12.57, and the Capote/In Cold Blood double-feature, which I just ordered, dropped $9, to $24.97

I don't buy from them like I used to. The prices have definitely gone up. I remember when they offered Deadwood and Rome seasons for $23 bucks before the discount.

Most of the films in my list went up $4-5 each. TV stuff stayed relatively the same-which means overpriced! e.g. Brothers & Sister Season 3 $36.99 used. Get it new on Amazon for $18.99.
