note that Wal-Mart Clone Wars blu price is online only - in-store it's marked at a full $44.96
(and Target is not even carrying the Blu)

No one seems to be carrying the Blu in my area. Best Buy doesnt have it and neither does Fry's (according to an employee on the phone)

both BB and Fry's ARE carrying it. So your store either hasnt put it out yet, or they stocked too few and sold out 
I say just go with Amazon with the free shipping. You'll have to wait a few days to get it, but it's cheaper and you dont waste time tracking it down.
