Criterion DVD's and Blu-Rays 50% off at Barnes and Noble 11/10

Starting on November 10, Barnes and Noble will be running their 50% off Criterion promotion for 2 weeks, according to multiple B&N employees.

Sale will occur online and in-store, but you can get them cheaper in-store than you can online if you are a B&N member. Here's how:

The list price for most Criterion DVD's and Blu-Rays is $40
The 50% off sale drops them to $20
Your 10% membership discount drops them to $18
And finally, this $5 coupon drops them to $13:

(thanks to LASERMOVIES)

(If the list price is $30, the 50% sale/10% member discount/$5 coupon will drop the price to $8.50)
The coupon can be used multiple times as long as your local B&N employees aren't sticks in the mud.

Remember, IT PAYS TO BE A B&N MEMBER, especially during this sale.
Not only that, but if you want to purchase a membership and just use it during this sale, you can get a full refund for your membership within the first month.

Oh great, exactly what I need -- another round of this.

I'm a frugal guy for the most part, but this sale was absolute hell on my wallet a few months ago.

Awesome, thanks for the heads up. Sucks you can only use the coupon for one DVD/Blu-ray though, hopefully you can just keep printing them out and each trip use it again haha.

I will be getting a membership soon, cannot pass up this deal. Criterion's, here I come!

That's what a lot of people, myself included, did last time. I must have used that coupon about 12 times during the last Criterion sale.

The Blu ray is cheaper though, strangely. I placed an order with Amazon for it anyway. If BN still has it, I may order one for future consideration....

You're right. I was assuming it was at that price since a lot of the $40 Criterion DVDs were $35, but they're all sitting at $31.99 right now.
