After reading the Amazon customer reviews ... it's not clear to me whether or not the music is included with each episode ...

In the product review, it says: The Complete Series collection includes all five seasons of this groundbreaking show on 32 discs, including all the original music from the broadcast episodes.

If anyone get this, I would love to see how it's packaged. It looks like a very long box.

According to a post on Amazon:
"It comes in a long cardboard box, containing 6 plastic cases, each with 6 DVDs in it (execpt the bonus content which is just 2 discs). It looks like they just took the 5 individual season sets, added the bonus content discs in their own case, and boxed it up. Each season is well packed with 6 discs in a pretty slim case, that all lock into their respective plastic slots and do not come in contact with each other. No loose or scratched discs! Good job with the packaging, and it doesn't take up a lot of space for so many discs!"

I also read that there is a soundtrack included except all of the Lisa Nicole Carson (Renee)/Vonda Shepard duets were omitted which sucks since some of those songs were good.

I will get this someday when it is under $50. The Gil Bellows brain tumor storyline along with the Hayden Panettiere silliness in the final season are enough to make me wonder if I even really WANT the whole series. Maybe I should just rent it...

At over 75% off list, I hope not, because it would probably mean it was an unsuccessful release and Fox was dumping them. I would want this to be as successful a release as possible so that they will release other complete series sets complete with all music intact. It is the nature of TV on DVD that even though the show is advertised as complete with all music as broadcast, people are waiting for confirmation from people who have bought the set.
The last TV set I remember advertised as complete was Saturday Night Live and it was found that the bumpers before commercials were missing. It is a shame that experience has taught us not to believe what the studios say without confirmation.

Plus, Fox's press release loudly trumpeted the fact that all the music is in it... and a sticker on the box says all the music is in it...

I ordered mine today for $94.99 since it was in my GOLDBOX DEAL. I had ordered Season 1 & Snow White DVD/Blu combo but then cancelled them on Tuesday since I decided I wanted the complete series. Both the complete series and Snow White Blu/DVD combo showed in my GOLDBOX today so I ordered them both for $103.98 total ($6 I saved went towards Toby Keith new CD which is $7.99 this week). Just a heads up incase you want to try and get them to show in your box before the sale ends.

I'd still like to see some pics of the packaging... I can't envision what is written there.

They come in six separate standard size keepcases -- Season 1 is identical to the individual retail release of Season 1. The first five (i.e., Seasons 1 - 5) contain 6 discs each, and the last contains the two bonus discs. The long box opens to have three of the keep cases stacked on the left and three more stacked immediately to the right. This is still the best photo I've seen:

Costco is also selling the complete series set for $99.XX. [The Eugene (OR) store has 15+ copies in stock this evening.]

The box is very sturdy cardboard, and the cases are the standard size DVD cases stacked in side by side, 3 cases deep. Each with six discs inside (except the bonus discs case which only has two, as mentioned before). The second pic shows the cases partly out, with season 3 and the bonus discs cases opened.
