Thanks OP. I bit at this price as this will be a great birthday gift for my brother. I was a little reluctant because of the whole incorrect Superman I and Superman III disc debacle. I hoping these are the corrected sets. I'd hate to put my brother thru the same nightmare I went thru 3 years ago. Fingers crossed.

Thanks, OP - just snagged one myself! I'm guessing these might be the "original release" sets, before WB corrected the recall issues with the wrong audio track on Superman I and the missing special features from Superman III. I don't know if WB will still offer to send out the corrected discs, but even if they don't, it's a small price to pay to get the set so cheap!

Nice. I've been happy with the original release of Superman and the Donner Cut of II, but $10 is insane to pass up. I've dealt with one of the sellers (NEWBURY_COMICS) in the past, and the service was great.

Warner has been dumping a lot of overstock lately. I just saw a whole dump of their stuff at half price books. And their stuff hit Big Lots before that.

Same here, if just for the Richard Donner Cut. I already own the 8-disc set that I got at Best Buy last year for $16 ,the Superman doc disc that I got at Big Lots for $3 and the 2-disc of Superman Returns that I got for $5 at Circuit City thanks to a mistake in the ad eons ago.

I noticed it was solid out from both cheap retailers earlier, but an hour ago, one put some more up and I snagged one.

It's an insane deal, even at two to three times that price.

For me it ends up being an upgrade on Superman I, which I had been on the fence about for some time, getting a theatrical cut of II. I alread have the Donner cut and don't care about III or IV.

The bonus features are killer though: all the remastered Fleischer cartoons and the Reeves, "Mole Men" serial, and tons of behind the scenes stuff.

Just ordered mine from Newbury Comics for $19.69 + $12.29 for shipping to Japan. Hope that I am not disappointed. Thanks for letting us know about this one. I SO wanted to order this when it was released, but due to the combination of the defective sets and the price I never got it! Now I finally have it ordered! Seems like it was discontinued by the manufacturer pretty quickly, eh?
