This same review states:

"...that corrected versions will not appear in stores until this first batch is sold out..."

So, with a correct "Superman III" in your set I'd thnk that it's highly likely you also have the corrected "Superman: The Movie" disk.

If someone could post the time/date stamp from the "bad" version of "Superman" disk it *could* be a way to easily check.

The time/date stamp on the corrected version video files is: 12/5/06 @ 6:30pm-6:40pm

I got mine today and it was the recalled version with the messed up Superman III disc. I'll be calling WB tomorrow to get the replacements sent to me.

ordered mine on the 1st and received it today. Looks like my superman III disc has all the special features (making of, deleted scenes, and trailer)

mine showed today. III is missing the features. So i called and they're mailing me the replacement discs. great customer service, WB! wish others were as good.

Ordered on Oct 4th from Newbury (see page 1 of this thread), received here in Japan on the 17th - pretty dang good service for international shipping. The UPC is the uncorrected set, I still have to slip in III and see if it has the features or not.

No doubt, I ordered from a different retailer at Amazon Market place and it took 19 days to get from Missouri to Texas! Mine is also the recalled version. Need to check and see if I need to call Warner.

I've yet to receive the two copies I ordered from inflatable-madness.

The latest date that I should receive it is the 26th though, so I guess I'll keep waiting until then before I start bitching at someone. :\

Mine came from inflatable-madness and it took a while to get here, but finally showed up about a week or two ago. For that price sealed/brand new ($7.99!!!) I'm not complaining, though.

finally remembered to call WB today and the lady took my info and said they would mail the replacement discs no problem--she even said i wouldn't have to return the defective discs back to them

thats odd... I called a week ago and was told they would be sending the replacements AND envelopes to mail the old ones back. Wonder if I need to or not.

Thats who I ordered from, very slow and they would not respond to any emails. The price is hard to beat but very frustrating dealer.

Did anyone receive their set with any badly scratched discs?

I just got my set from Newbury and most discs were fine. But the final disc (video diaries) was pretty scuffed. I haven't tested yet to see if there's a play problem.

My Superman 3 appears to have all the special features. Haven't tested Superman 1 though.

I ordered from Inflatable-Madness, and it did take two weeks to arrive in California, but well within the promised shipping date. My tin had a small ding, but everything else was pristine. I did have to call WB for a new Superman 1 disk and Superman 3 disk. The lady taking the call, was familiar with the issue, and said that they would be sending out the corrected disks to me, and I would not have to send the recalled disks back.

I just called Warners @ 800-553-6937 again to get replacement disks for the Ultimate Collection. I had called last month, but as with previous folks, my request got "lost". They told me it would take at most 10 Business Days. So for those of you that called, never got them and forgot, now is time to recall.
