Re: halloween/scary/Horror movie deals yet?

I agree--Se7en isn't always thought of as a "typical" horror film, but it is remarkably scary with great atmosphere and tension.

by the way, if you want to have some extra fun with "snakes on a plane" look around on the internet, someone wrote an "audience participation" script for it, like rocky horror

Re: halloween/scary/Horror movie deals yet?

Walmart has started! I was there today and they had an end cap of newer and older horror titles like they do ever year. And mine had the Halloween & Scream three packs out again. And the coolest off all (if you do not already own these... SAW 5-Movie collection for only $20.00. All the unrated versions. Damn good deal!

I noticed these this morning, the Prom Night (2008) $7.50 has e-cash for Zombieland, or the Stepfather. The 20th Century Fox titles have "Halloween" sounds (?) and pumpkin carving stencils, I'm guessing you redeem on a website.

They varied $7.50/$9.00/$13.00, if I recall correctly.

Re: halloween/scary/Horror movie deals yet?

Carrie : SE (Lenticular Cover)
Amityville Horror, The (Lenticular Cover)
Se7en [Seven]

...and others for only $5 @ Kmart! In my store, they were in 2 spots - mixed in the $5 bin (electronics dept) and in the front of the store by the registers. Beware: They had the foolscreen AND widescreen versions of The Amityville Horror available for the same price. Also, Carrie S.E. was only located in the front of the store. Price tags may say $9.99-14.99 but will ring up $5.00.

Oh, and yes I know Se7en can be found for the same price at Target... (and maybe even cheaper elsewhere)

Yes, It's the two-disc widescreen collector's edition from 2007 but without a slipcover for $7.50. Blair Witch i think is the same price but i'm not quite sure sorry.

At B&N's usual $4.99 bin:

-Howling II: Your Sister Is A Werewolf
-The Brood
-Amityville Horror (1979)
-Amityville Horror (2005)
-Count Yorga
-Blacula
-Audrey Rose

I'm probably missing a bunch, but I'm going off what I remember.

Re: halloween/scary/Horror movie deals yet?

I stopped at a Best Buy in Columbus, Ohio and found some Paramount horror titles in the dump bin near the check-out.

I saw "Tales from the Dark Side: The Movie", "Let's Scare Jessica to Death" and "Silver Bullet" all for $4.99 each.

I picked up William Castle's "Bug" with Bradford Dillman for $3.99.
