This sure keeps my spending under control. Don't think I've bought anything at the store for about 3 weeks now.
wherehouse.com did get a bunch of money out of me today though. Apparently they've relocated to IL from CA, or are in the process of doing so.

Mine doesn't work on that site either, but I just ordered elsewhere.
If you're looking for used dvds check out wherehouse.com .. they have a 25% off sale right now also. And they take FYE giftcards. They don't take the backstage pass however, and shipping is a bit pricey.
Here's a reply from them when I asked why my card didn't work...
"Thank you for contacting the fye.com Customer Assistance Center.
Please note that the name under which the BackStage Pass is registered must be the same name on the fye.com account to which the BSP is being applied. If both accounts are registered under the same name, you can place an order without entering your BSP account number. If you do place an order without entering your BSP number, please respond to this email, and we can reimbursement you for your discount. Please provide your order number and your BSP account number. Please note that if you purchase the order with a gift card, this will be the method of payment that we reimburse, so we ask that you please do not throw away the card. We do apologize for any inconvenience that this issue has caused.
If we can be of further assistance, please reply to this email or reach us via the fye.com Customer Support line at

Sincerely,
fye.com Assistance Support

How serious are they about using a coupon multiple times? I've seen a few $7.99 BD's that I'm interested in and wouldn't mind using that $3 coupon to pick up at least a couple.

They typically allow only one per transaction. The store is so close to me I just go multiple times in a week or a day instead of asking them to ring items separately. If there is something I really want and it appears to be in limited supply I have them hold them for me. This week I bought Life of Brian, Shaun of The Dead, and Hot Fuzz on BD for 6.50 each and Batman Begins Limited Edition Gift Set SD for around $4. Those are all new, not used.

The two locations that I visit never give me any problems with ringing up separate transactions. I've done as many as 6 in a single visit and they were very friendly about accepting them. Obviously a YMMV situation.

That's good to know. The coupon expires tomorrow and since I work at the Mall and the FYE is right around the corner I'll probably grab a couple before work and a couple after in separate transactions.
thanks guys!

Oh, didn't know Shaun Of The Dead was $9.99 this week. Too late now, unless there's another $3 coupon tomorrow, although I'm hoping for something better. The store I was at today showed that disk as being on sale for $14.99 but maybe that was an old card.

I don't expect to use this one but you never know. I said that about last week's $5 off a $35 purchase coupon and I did use it. Last weekend, the local FYE had a tent sale with all used buy 2 get 1 free. I bought 3 box sets (2 DVD, one CD) which came to over $35 after BSP discount so I was able to use the coupon.

Re: TWEC (FYE, Suncoast) In-Store Backstage Pass Coupons Thread
sorry, this isn't a bump with a new coupon, but FYE must have a new promotion going since all the signage changed in my local one.
I did notice that the register they were offering both 'Casino Royale' and 'Hancock' SE DVD's for $5.99 with the purchase of any other DVD. The 'Casino Royale' was the 2 disc set with the poker cards and chips and the 'Hancock' came with a collectible beanie hat (not sure if that is 2 disc also).
Anywa, just a heads up for anyone that might be interested.

Anyone have the coupon for this week? I want to check the store today and see if they have Forbidden Planet on Blu-ray.
