I'm super excited, hoping I can make it over there late tomorrow night before closing. I'm just wondering how this sale will compare to Record Store Day sales on April 17th (I remember in '08, they had 40% off used and in '09 it was 30% off I believe). Can't decide how much $$ I wanna shell out. But I am still waiting for those half price gift cards, so I guess I'm using those on Record Store Day!

Tax is 6.5 %, so that's like 25.5% off, that's pretty damn good. Their prices are also usually pretty decent on things in general.

Went to the Norwood store and picked up:
Bigger Than Life - Criterion Blu-Ray $24.47
Icons of Suspense: Hammer Films ( 3 DVD set just came out today!) $17.67
Surprised about the Hammer set didn't think they would get one in, I decided
to pick up some new stuff that was on my wish list instead of buying a bunch of
Used stuff just cause it was cheap.
So all in all a very good haul.

32% off the new DVDs isn't particularly good, but there are some good deals on the used stuff. My two purchases:

I went hoping to get some used Criterions, but they are way over priced, so I picked up a combo of other used and new stuff. A couple of the "used" discs were brand new with the security sticker still attached, but missing the shrinkwrap. All the used discs were 99% flawless, I was very happy.
