I just ordered the Watchmen 2-Disc Director's Cut DVD from Walmart through the website. I got it for $14.86 ($18.37 with tax and shipping). Not bad.

It was a huge hassle because Walmart's price-match policy is not effective to other Walmarts or Walmart.com pricing (or any online pricing for that matter). Walmart does not consider other locations or online as competitors, so they aren't included in the policy for comping.
Sounds like you were able to either raise enough of a fit to get it done or you got a manager that didn't know what they were doing.

Just wanted to let everyone know that it appears Target DOES have exclusive content for the Two-Disc Coraline DVD.
Also, my Best Buy did not have a Lenticular Slipcover for Watchmen: Director's Cut DVD, but Target DID. This leads me to believe that perhaps Target does have the Lenticular Slipcover for the DVD exclusively.

I just bought a copy at Best Buy w/the lenticular slipcover. Every copy (and there were many) had this slipcover. I was also at Sam's Club and they had the slipcover as well, so it seems to be at every retail chain. I'm guessing you found one of the few without it.

All the Watchmen: Director's Cut DVDs and Blu-Rays have lenticular covers except for the exclusive mask packaged ones at Best Buy, which has both (but the mask ones are more expensive).

Well since the lenticular cover is NOT excluisve to target, what exactly does their "deluxe"edition have? Anyone pick it up?

My local BB did not have any lenticular cover except for the BD version. Hmmm...
Had a heluva time finding the ones at Target. Had to go to 3 different ones!

This fucking sucks. Went to Walmart, and Watchmen was overpriced at $29.99. Screw it. Deepdiscount is out of stock. Tried to order on Amazon, and the webpage times out!!

similar to bestbuy, fye has a promo: tales of the black freighter or the motion comic for $5 each with purchase of watchmen. price on watchmen was $17.99 for the single and $22.99 for the 2-disk edition plus a $5 mir.
no love for twec in the charts trevor?

The Watchmen director cut dvd is back in stock on Walmart.com and when I placed it in my cart it was 13.86. I did a site-to-store to get free shipping and the total came to 14.99 w/ tax.
