Yes, they price match. You must bring in the printed ad from a local competitor, and it must be in stock there. They shouldn't pricematch the exclusive versions. YMMV on all aspects of course.

Since there has been talk of price matching Watchmen at Best Buy in this thread, I figured I'd share my experience this morning.

Wal-Mart has the 2-disc listed online as $14.86 at the moment, so I went to Best Buy, grabbed the 2-disc and Tales of the Black Freighter and went to customer service and asked them to check and match the online price of Wal-Mart. It took her a little while, but when she found it she honored Wal-Mart's price and rang Black Freighter in as $5.

$19.86 for the 2-disc Director's Cut + Black Freighter.

Easiest price match I've done at Best Buy, as I've run into a few uncooperative BB employees in the past. I'd still chalk this up as a YMMV situation, but I still hope it helps some of you out.

Okay thanks. I'll probably stop by at lunch.

Update: Pricematch successful. I made the same purchase as you, Watchmen and Tales. I took a print out (from WM's website) in with me to make it go as smooth as possible. I was able to spend a little less, as I had $10 in gift cards. Thanks!

Thank you. Brought the Fry's ad in (BB was closer) and PM'd with no problem. Now to get three hours to watch the Watchmen........

Anyone pick-up the 300 Blu-ray re-issue with the BB exclusive comic? Is it the complete graphic novel or just one issue of the mini-series?

Update: Found out that it's NOT the complete graphic novel.

I was just at Target today and they are selling both The animated Watchman DVD and Black Freighter for 5 bucks a piece, no need to buy anything else. I'm not interested in purchasing this particular edition of The Watchmen, since I am waiting for the Ultimate Edition to come out in December, but for 5 bucks I was willing to buy each of the DVDs, just in case the Ultimate edition doesn't include some of the extras.
