Just like the title says, part of Sony's Staycation promo you can get $2 off select DVDs at Amazon and DD or $3 off select BD. The coupons expire 10/31/09. I don't know if they are stackable with the upcoming DD sale, but I highly doubt it...

They have multiple copies of some of the DVDs on sale. Different covers so I'm assuming different versions. I couldn't make out the description on which Final Fantasies are included in the sale.

well it seems the actual coupons from Sony's site are incorrect. I know I posted this, but I can't get the Amazon ones to work either . The DeepDiscount ones, however seem to be "staycationdvd" and "staycationblu" for $2 and $3 off respectively, instead of the ones indicated on the coupon. It also doesn't seem like you can use the two coupons together in one order so you'll have to place a separate DVD order and another for BDs.

If anybody can get the Amazon ones to work, that would be great...

Can not stack coupons codes at DD. The BLURAY prices (from my preliminary checks) prior to coupon is better at Amazon and are better at Amazon when you apply the $3 off and buy more than one BD..free shipping would then apply.

Soooo tempting, but... must... resist... buying stuff on Blu-Ray that I already have on SD DVD. Too bad the after coupon prices aren't listed. Maybe if there were some SD DVDs under $5 I don't already have or BRs under $10 that I really like and don't mind the double dip, I might get a few, but I don't have the time to go through the long list on Amazon or DD. Otherwise I'm going to keep waiting and hoping for a $5 Blu-Ray bin at Walmart in a couple years.
