Amazon Batman Begins Limited Edition Gift Set Blu-ray

For those of us who missed out on the WalMart deal a few weeks ago, Amazon has the Batman Begins Blu-Ray gift set for $14.49. In the description it shows it as a single disc (was there a single disc gift set?) but further reading makes it sound like it is indeed the 2 disc version. I guess I'll find out in a couple of days.

FYI, for those who haven't got Ghostbusters yet, it has decreased to $17.49. What's better is there is an automatic $5 coupon applied, making it $12.49, and if you add the Batman Begins set, you'll get free shipping. All for $26.98 (+ tax of course).

Tax?!?!?! You must live in one of the unlucky states... Good catch on the ghostbusters deal. Another good one is the 2-disc CE BD of Casino Royale for 13.99...

It's automatically taking $5 off for me. Did you start the check-out process? It says "Promotion Applied $5". If that doesn't work, try coupon GHOSTBLU.

There is also a Sony coupon, but I forgot what it is. SONYPIC5 maybe?

it wasnt doing it automatically for me, went all the way tot he end screen with the "place your order" button. just looked online for a coupon.

This is more than likely the one-discer. The review you proably read is for the DVD version and it's dated back to 2005.

There is no two-disc Blu-ray version in the U.S. The gift set simply includes the BD, two comic books, and some post cards.

I have to decide if it's worth $10 to get this as opposed to just picking it up through Red2Blu. Nice looking box, but I don't know if it's worth $10.

The Limited Edition sucks, in my opinion. I was able to pick it up cheap (I forget how), but I only got it because of the movie cash for The Dark Knight.

Thanks, you both seem to be right. It's a one disc set with the added books and cards. Still, this is cheaper than the stand alone Blu-Ray version Amazon is selling. So I grabbed a copy, and I added a few books to get the free shipping. I got a conformation email saying I should receive it next week.

Thanks to both of you, I picked up Ghostbusters BD and Batman Begins BD for $26.98 - $10 GC for a grand total of $16.98. Assuming they ship them out, this was a fantastic deal for me!
