It was priced at $18.99 and a price tag on the shelf was $18.99. There was only one left at the store I was at.

I'm happy with the old set I have but for this price and the $10 off I might bite. Does anyone know if that $10 refund is still available?

I believe that's only for advertised sales. But I agree that would be nice, I have some credit left on my account.

Very cool. Thanks for posting this. I had been waiting for a great price to upgrade my old set, and this definitely qualifies. I had to go to two Targets to find a copy, and it was the last one there, so if you're looking for this deal, I'd get out soon.

Also, I'm not sure what the rebate is you're all talking about, but there was no information about a rebate in my copy.

edit: Are people getting the $10 Blu-ray upgrade confused with SD?

I had to do the same thing as you kingtopher. Two targets and the last copy on the shelf. Luckily I live right in between 2 Targets and both are only 5 minutes either way.

They did have the restoration Godfather single dvd for $10.

Yeah that's all I saw as well. I looked near all the other sets (Die Hard, Alien) that have been sitting there in the same spot for quite some time.

Thanks for the post! I just picked up a copy at lunchtime from Target. The sales price isn't posted on the shelf. If you don't want to lug it up to the cashier to have them check it, just do a barcode scan yourself at one of the posts set up in the store. It WILL come up at $18.99.

There must be some sort of price cut going on at the wholesale level as Deep Discount has this on sale too, but for $26.80.

My copy had the two bonus discs mixed up. The new disc had printing on it saying it was the old disc and vice-versa. Anyone else have that problem?

dlinke01 - this is how all the discs are, unfortunately. It's mentioned in the dvdtalk review of the set. I'd say that FFC was p.o.'d about this!

Okay. I don't really care at all. I was just checking to see if it was a common problem. It's not a big enough problem to lower the great price on the set.
