almost bought Part 1 and 2 Last Week at bestbuy B1G1F @ $14.99

only reason i didn't do it was, the last copy they had of part 1 included Movie Cash, and manager said No Go- and didnt feel like arguing

My store didn't have any of these sets. Not even a spot reserved on the shelves for it. Shame, I would have loved to get this set as I don't have it yet and don't feel like paying $30+ for it.

The price is slowly dropping at Amazon. Earlier today it was $33.99, and right now it's $24.99. I'm wondering if it will go lower.

First store I went to didnt have it, and I couldn't find a spot on the shelf for it either. Second store I went to had one copy left, but I couldn't find a tag on the shelf for that either! It was sitting in the wrong spot. No idea specifically where Godfather is supposed to be located... I thoroughly went through the entire TV aisle and each endcap twice...

I checked that aisle thoroughly for a total of three times.. I also went up and down the other 3 DVD/BD aisles a couple times in case I missed it the 1st time. Nothing to be found...

I have a feeling that this is no longer an item Target carries. I think last time Targets did their TV aisle reset, this product was pulled. They do that quite often because they have limited shelf space for DVD sets. One day they carry a certain DVD box set, and the next day they no longer carry it. They do that with Blu-Rays as well. I have hit a total of 5 stores in my area, and none even have a shelf tag for this.
Those of you finding it, your stores might not have done the last DVD reset yet. I wish everyone luck in finding it, but I give up. I got one for myself, but my friend is OOL...

I found 2 on the shelf and bought one.
And there was a $18 tag on the shelf.

I bought my stores last copy on Sunday, but I went there today and there are 4 more on the shelf (with sale price tag). So, it's worth checking later in the week for those of you who couldn't find one. They're restocking them at my store.

The transfer is stunning!
It makes the movie look like a 1950's technicolor.
Great transfer. Between this set and NORTH BY NORTHWEST dvd these are the greatest transfers to dvd.

It was in the aisle with the tv series. Next to it was the Bourne Trilogy, both with sale tags.

If you don't see them ask the clerk to see if they have some in the stockroom.

I got one. Wow, I've never seen Target stores with so many red tag specials. Also bought 24 S5 & 6 for $14.99 each.

I picked one up at the Waldorf MD location, it was the last one there. There are two left at the La Plata Md location.

They had copies at both of the Targets in my area. Unfortunately, all the copies I've seen have been too battered and shopworn for my tastes.

But it wasn't a complete loss. I found the Bram Stoker's Dracula CE and Robert Altman's Popeye for $5 each.

Thats exactly where they were at the store I went to last night. There were only two left, and one looked trashed (cuts and dents all over the packaging). I got the only one that looked like it was in mint condition.

As I was checking my receipt, I noticed the regular price was $49.99!?! Wow...

Managed to snag one of these at my local Target. I actually went to 2 different ones and the 2nd one I went to had 2 copies left.

Now, I already own the previous box set. Is there any major differences that would warrant me to keeping both or can I safely sell my previous box set? Are there any extras from the previous set not included in this one?
